Quote# 85584

“There are studies that are being conducted right now about how children are being raised and how that affects somebody in their psyche and in their self-esteem and in the various ways that that can affect a person being raised by either a man and a man or a woman and a woman. It’s not natural.”

Yanta also said that if the amendment doesn’t pass, Christian parents could be arrested.

“If marriage between homosexuals is legalized, what would some of the consequences be?” she asked rhetorically. “Parents who want to opt their kids out of the public school on the day that they’re teaching about homosexual relationships how it should be okay and accepted, and the parents are charged with discrimination and are hauled away sometimes in handcuffs. … We just can’t allow this to happen.

So does that mean the children of racists have their parents hailed off in chains next month?

Why is homosexuality such a sin but bearing false witness has been tacitly accepted. They're both in the Bible right? Or do Christians equate the wrongness of lying with the wrongness of a polynylon blend?

No, I'm afraid it'll be worse than that...Christians will received the death penalty, even if they support gay rights. Then we'll take their children and magically transform them into gays (as the cardinal two quotes down observed), if we don't eat them first that is. Finally, we will make gay sex mandatory and force Christians (before we kill them) to have it. There, I've given you enough ammo, now go finish up in the corner and use a towel when you're done.

All this started when we let niggers in the public schools.

Yes, there are studies about that. And they've all concluded that being raised by two parents of the same gender is not harmful.

Just like when white parents who kept their kids out of school so they couldn't be exposed to black kids were hauled away in handcuffs. Oh wait, that didn't happen.

Oh give me a break. Schools have been allowing cranky parents to opt out their children from being taught evolution or who knows what else for years now. I really get tired of all this demagoguery when Christians claim that they're going to be arrested for their beliefs. I mean, come on. They make up 80% of the population but yet they're being arrested and persecuted by the rest.

We just can’t allow this to happen.

Don't worry, it's not going to, except maybe in your tiny mind.

FTFY.

Also, these studies. Cite them.

No, Mister Spak, it goes back further than that; it all starting going to hell when they took away our God-given freedom to stone our own children to death for disobedience.

...meanwhile on Planet Reality, specifically here in the UK, Civil Partnerships have been going on for several years now (PROTIP: honosexuality was legalised here in 1967). The most famous example being Elton John marrying David Furnish. Then a few years later, they - via a surrogate mother - had a son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. This alone (not taking into account the many other same-sex marriages that have gone on since Civil Partnerships were legally instituted) has affected my country this much:

Zero.

Thus I ask you the rhetorical question Kalley: are you Tweeting this load of arse gravy from inside a FEMA concentration camp/gulag/re-education centre for homophobes, pray tell...?

Think extremely carefully before answering, lest you prove your (& your own unjustified attitude's) FAIL. Certainly annihilate your own argument.

Moral: Not being allowed to persecute those not exactly like you =/= 'Persecution'.

Yes, because having two parents of the same sex is so much worse than being raised by screaming drunks, or sanctimonious asshole control freaks, or brutal knuckle-draggers, or dozens of other scenarios that happen every day that you don't seem to care about. After all, it's a parent's "right" to raise their children to the same kind of asshole that they turned out to be. Right Kalley? RIGHT KALLEY?

Why would you be charged with discrimination for taking your child out of public school? That's perfectly legal.

See a therapist for your persecution complex.

Yea and I bet that you have reached your conclusions well in advance of the results of those studies. I also bet that you will completely ignore the results of those studies if and when they don't fit with your preconceived notions...more liberal bias.
