Women in Western societies are *not* oppressed by men. Women are valued much higher in those societies than men are; women receive a better standard of healthcare than men do; women's emotional needs and welfare are catered too at every opportunity while men are told to stop whining and grow a pair; women have a suicide rate much, much lower than men and in fact there is an epidemic of suicides among young men but is anything done about it?
Women are valued for what they are, men are valued for what they can provide and, of course, as disposable cannon-fodder when needs must.
So shut yer whining yap, you over-privileged bigot. You've never had it so good.

Funny how you seem to equate "equality" with "equality for women".
I think BobOldSocks has a good point, who is out there working for the equality for men? Who's worrying about male suicides and lower rates of college degrees for men?
Start fighting for equality for everyone and not for the female gender and perhaps feminism will regain the credibility and allies it once had.
