Quote# 88937

Sikhs are Hindu.

I figured that out after 9-11. We have a Sikh at work and I was very rude to him that day.

I think people find the turban confusing.

Ahhhh, xenophobia. Isn't it beautiful?

8/13/2012 3:37:34 AM

You really don't know anything, do you?

8/13/2012 3:38:54 AM

Filin De Blanc

It really is breathtaking just how stupid the people on RR are.

8/13/2012 3:42:29 AM

Up is down! Red is white! Horses grow on trees!

Credits where due: He figured out he was wrong and admits it.

Must say I'm a bit impressed and have a bit more hope for humanity

8/13/2012 3:46:24 AM

No he didn't. He is still dead wrong. Sikhs are not Hindu. He is the type of person the think there all the same.

8/13/2012 3:51:51 AM

jesus-face tortilla

plus, what kind of asshat uses a major national tragedy as an excuse to be more petty? that's serious fail-at-life territory in my opinion.

8/13/2012 4:30:31 AM

I notice you make no mention of an apology to the man or for taking your anger out on unrelated persons. Should I tell off every Christian I see for the one who hit me with their car?

8/13/2012 4:53:32 AM

No, they're not Hindu, either, and you're still confused.

8/13/2012 4:56:27 AM

Just... everything about this is wrong.

8/13/2012 4:59:25 AM

Wow, you struck out with the first sentence!

8/13/2012 5:03:57 AM

Mister Spak

You fundies find everything confusing. Like the gas gauge on your car, the constitution, the cause of the tides . .

8/13/2012 5:19:04 AM

Doubting Thomas

I notice that nowhere does he say that he was sorry for being rude to his coworker. I guess when you worship a false god you don't deserve an apology.

8/13/2012 5:24:19 AM

Churchy LaFemme

The only reason "people" find the turban confusing, or lump Sikhs and Muslims into the same group is because "people" are too lazy or self-centered to make any effort to actually know them. You obviously never talked to the Sikh at work, or you would have known he wasn't Muslim.

8/13/2012 5:27:52 AM

No... Sikhs are Sikh...

Christians, they're jewish, right?

8/13/2012 5:30:15 AM

Just... wow.

8/13/2012 5:46:39 AM

First of all...no they're not. Second of all, how can anyone possibly be stupid enough to confuse Sikhs with Muslims.

8/13/2012 5:53:38 AM

Mihangel apYrs

Sikhs aren't Hindu
Being impolite is the response of a dick
You're easily confused.

But it's easy to categorise people into stereotypes and then attack them

8/13/2012 6:00:16 AM

I think people find the turban confusing.

You're partly right. Some people do. We call them children, or morons.

8/13/2012 6:09:01 AM

Sikhs are Sikhs, stupid.

What does a random person at your job have to do with 9-11? Was he a friend of one of the hijackers, or what?

Should I perhaps be rude to every Norwegian that I know, after 7-22?

8/13/2012 6:14:24 AM

Philbert McAdamia

Christians, they're jewish, right?

Right. Jesus wasn't a Jew, ya know - he was Jewish.

He is the type of person the think there all the same.

On 9-11 the owner of a "Quicki--Mart" near my house was murdered for being "one of them".
He was a very nice Egyptian man.

8/13/2012 6:17:45 AM

Deep Search

Wow, you profiled an innocent person at your work and were a shit to him due to prejudice and being xenophobic, ignorant, and just plain stupid. Way to be patriotic.

I assume he would feel justified if he had been very rude to a random Muslim person. And wouldn't blame someone too much if they shot Muslims in their place of worship, because they are the "right" people to persecute.

8/13/2012 6:37:38 AM

Yes, Sikhs are Hindu just like Christians are Muslim.

We have a Sikh at work and I was very rude to him that day.

That's okay. You're a rapturite; people are probably used to you being an asshole by now.

8/13/2012 7:15:07 AM

If by people you mean moronic fundies then sure. Confused fear seems to be their baseline.

8/13/2012 8:13:54 AM

Raised by Horses

You must be sikh in the head.

Drumroll, please.
