Quote# 93463

True Story....that is actual "Science" and it glorifies God....Dinosaur soft-tissue will not last for "millions" of years...it will degrade...and yet, we can take some DNA samples from it...The Earth is YOUNG, and "Science" proves it...OVER and OVER and OVER....There is not, nor will there ever be a distortion between the truth of Scripture and the Revelations of "Science"...they ALWAYS agree.

Start doing some research about "Tachyons"....and how they (faster than light particles)....might be disproving some facets of Einstein's theories of relativity...The Science is there...and it will ALWAYS support Scripture. We just don't know how to look for it.

Start doing some research about "Tachyons"

Sure. How about we start with the fact that no experimental evidence for tachyons has been found to date?

Atheism 2.0

Science disproves scripture, time and time again.

It took me less than two seconds to find out that tachyons are hypothetical.

3/31/2013 4:52:09 AM

There are tachyons in the Bible?

3/31/2013 4:59:10 AM

AbsurdONE

What the shit does a hypothetical faster-than-light backwards-through-time particle with negative energy have to do with Christian scripture?

Moreover, what basis do you have to claim that soft tissues, sufficiently mineralized and buried, cannot survive as fossils?

gravematter

Even if tachyons were shown to exist, how exactly would that point to a young earth?

"Dinosaur soft-tissue will not last for "millions" of years"

Scientists thought so. Now they don't. If you know more about this than them, why not publish your findings, and win your Nobel Prize?

The Science is there...and it will ALWAYS support Scripture. We just don't know how to look for it until we sniff a sufficient quantity of airplane glue.

Fixed.

No compelling evidence for tachyon existence has been found.

We just don't know how to look for it.

Withdraw your head from your anus; you'll never find the answers in there.

Dinosaur soft tissue didn't last millions of years (although there's no reason why it couldn't in the right circumstances). The dinosaur soft tissue that was reported was in fact fossilized soft tissue that was re-softened by chemical treatment. Reports of finding dinosaur DNA may have resulted from contaminated samples (e.g., bacteria).

This demonstrates a total lack of the ability to face reality. These people demonstrate this lack over, and over, and over again. This is what makes them so dangerous.

Do note that the word "science" keeps showing up in quotes.

Yes, "science" never contradicts scripture. But science does.

Why do... the craziest fundies... always type... like this...?

Seriously, it's like they're out of breath. Over the internet.

Oh, and tachyons are hypothetical and science and scripture dispute each other hugely, yadda yadda yadda.

Sure, "Science" might always agree with Scripture, as they are both built upon myths and legends.
Actual science, built upon evidence, peer-reviews and experiments, almost always contradict Scripture.

POP QUIZ

Consider the following statement.

There is not, nor will there ever be a distortion between the truth of Scripture and the Revelations of "Science"...they ALWAYS agree."

Now choose the correct response.

[ ] A: Whenever science discovers something that disagrees with the bible you should lie and misrepresent science.
[ ] B: Whenever science discovers something that disagrees with the bible you should reinterpret the bible.
[ ] C: Both A and B in order to avoid excessive cognitive dissonance.
[ ] D: Reconsider and alter your beliefs in the face of objective evidence derived via the scientific method.
[ ] E: Reconsider the opening statement and determine if it is factually correct.
[ ] F: Both D and E in order to maintain intellectual honesty and avoid being quoted on FSTDT.

When you are done with the quiz please hand it in and you may take one cookie from the jar. [RTT]

Tachyons are purely hypothetical. As for the rest of this, standard creationist junk.
