Many people wait until marriage to have sex. If gay men often wait until marriage to have sex than marriage will encourage them to have sex. Many gay men are getting AIDS via sex.

Gays have a higher rate of HIV/AIDS than normal people do in several nations. Gay marriage harms gays. I bet you are surprised by this news.

The article to which Freiheit Reich refers is about HIV/AIDS globally. It shows that rates of infection are rather higher in areas like the Caribbean, which can be very hostile to LGBT people, than Western Europe, where same-sex marriage is legal in many countries. Gay marriage is an expression of a monogamous relationship. If neither partner is infected and both take precautions, they will not get HIV/AIDS. Marriage, if anything, ought to reduce the likelihood of infection.
As for saving oneself until marriage, I didn't think that there were many gay Purity Balls or that gay people were that involved in the Silver Ring Thing.
The dumbass even got criticized by other people on the forum, so he (?) followed it up with this gem:

Yeah, that's not... Just no. Sexually transmitted diseases, how do they work?? Clearly they magically manifest themselves and infect the "bad" people, according to Dr. Reich.
By coincidence, I was just reading a thing today written by an old(ish) gay man who said that the gay friends he knew who survived the worst days of the AIDS epidemic in the 80s all had one thing in common; They were all in committed monogamous relationships. So that directly contradicts this guy's point.
Many gay men are getting AIDS via unsafe sex. At least pretend to be honest.
You know who else is getting AIDS via unsafe sex? Senior citizens. They seem to think that because they're old, they're immune.
