Most of us (I do recognize the presence of Jewish fundies, like the fellow who assassinated Yitzhak Rabin) are aware of this fundie circle-jerk and of the reality disconnect shared among coteries of sheeplike religulous tinfoil-hat people. Rarely do I find examples of such people in person (last time it was anti-choicers shouting sour nothings at an abortion clinic), but I am cognizant that there are enough of these fools to populate a large country. I know this guy is horrible, but please drop the superiority complex. Atheists aren't necessarily pro-science, pro-humanity etc. This kind of attitude that you display can only be described as atheist supremacism.
You wanna know what communists were? That's right, atheists, they didn't seem all that interested in promoting science (frankly they distorted science with the whole religion = mental disorder) or genuinely improving the human condition.
And militant atheists have engaged in science denialism before. You don't need to look too far to find atheist videos promoting the same crap, that religion is a mental illness (and meaning it literally), even though reputable psychiatrists would never agree. They also distort history by saying that "Christianity caused the dark ages".
They also aren't these giant pillars of rationality and intellect either. They're pretty average actually. Their criticism of religions is not always entirely accurate and they can be misinformed on other subjects that have nothing to do with religion/atheism.
If you are so obsessed with sex that you beg your own mother for sex, and become depressed to the point of assault & battery when turned down, the problem is not with everyone else!

Think of the Purity Balls, the excessive display of virginal motifs in bridal and debutante attire, slut shaming. And the vice versa it was at one point hip for men to take others' virginity; consider also the idea that men (should) think with their penis, often played as a media trope for laughs, yet seeping in as life sometimes imitates art.
