Hull: Spring Bank, to be exact. A part of the city with a sizeable immigrant community. There are continental food shops, Halal butchers, coffee shops etc.
There's also a couple of Christian churches (a Baptist one), an amusement arcade with fruit machines & bingo, some conventience stores run by Muslims which also sell alcohol and National Lottery tickets & scratchcards, and four pubs (one - 'The Polar Bear' - which used to be run by relatives of mine), two of which (including 'The Polar Bear') with rainbow flags, denoting they being Gay , or LGBT-friendly ones.
Like I say: an Immigrant community. With Christian churches, Gay pubs, and even Eastern European food shops. Can you say 'Multiculturalism'? I know you can.

After a generation or so, birth rates tend to fall to European levels. Immigrants to Britain now are often from the Christian countries of Eastern Europe, or from Muslim countries like Albania where girls wear short shorts and guys drink raki and neither could give a damn about fundamentalism.

A muslim former colleague of mine that still lives and Works in London commented me that they were preparing something because the guys who killed Kirby were going to be judged and the muslim community was actually very divided on the topic. Also, in 2050, there will be pubs, liquor stores, night clubs, gambling houses, lotteries, strip joints, race tracks, etc, in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, Teheran Iran, Karachi Pakistan, and all of the other Muslim major cities.
