Wow, Doomie, that is so sad. The most liberal states have the highest employment rates and the highest returns to the union, while the most conservative states pay the lowest. Why should anyone want to move to Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, etc.

Ohio is a "liberal shithole"? I'm not sure how the crucial swing state that's important for presidential elections and virtually nothing else is as liberal as California or New York. And Michigan, while it is a blue state in presidential elections, it is a swing-state in Congressional and Gubernatorial elections.

Apparently you've never been to it. It's a shithole, alright, but it's not Liberal. Sure, Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo, and possibly Youngstown tend to vote blue, but they are counter-balanced by Cincy and a plethora of staunch-right rural and small towns as far as the eye can see.
Ohio is a purple state, jack ass. That's why it's a major swing state.
