Now I cant argue with my wife when she says that the kid is better off as far as health and clean living environment is concerned. and they even buy her the girly girl toys she craves, so she may actually grow up somewhat normal....

The child is in a loving home and her odds of living a healthy, good life are greatly enhanced as opposed to NOT being adopted by anyone (including you fundie christians who are always bleating about The Holy Embryo) I fail to see how this couple adopting a child devastates this country in any way whatsoever.

Why are fundies so obsessed with lesbians conceiving using a "turkey baster?" pint of semen to even fill that thing enough so it would work. Unless you want to throw a "Spooge-In-the-Cup" party for all your guy friends, it will take about a week molesting yourself full-time to get that quantity, and since sperm only remains viable outside the body for a short time, you would have to mix frozen, semi-frozen, and fresh sperm...

So you have no evidence these two women are lesbians, they just share parenting duties... they adopted a child from a poor country to raise it here where it will be far better off, they buy it what it wants and are raising it as you would label "normal", and this means we should keep gays from marrying or adopting children? What is your point? Nothing in this post suggests it is a bad thing.

Hey, my wife divorced me at the news of the adoption of this girl. Really! and our roof caved in, our neighbors killed each other, and a big boiling pit of lava opened up in the yard and swallowed up our garage and the other neighbor's dog.
Yes. Children, and society, are horribly - irrevocably, even - damaged by prosperity, education, and love.

I mean, the most amazing thing about this is the way he poses it. I adopted after I became the legal tutor of the boy, the son of my best friend, a single mother who died from cancer. I was 22 and struggling with a job and my studies, so my mom(a widow), decided to move on and help me. The boy lived this way until I married several years later. Honestly, did we make any damage to society?
