Are you another victim of FSTDT? As most people here know, I'm hated there for wanting them to go to heaven. So as Jesus said; "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." "No servant can be greater than his master." So we're in great company, my friend. So the slander of atheists proves Jesus right once again.

Hey, we got no beef with this Jesus guy you're so fond of, and we don't even hate you. We love you, your ignorance, and your blind idiocy. Well, we don't love all that, we just love making fun of you.
If you're sincere in wanting me to go to Heaven, I certainly won't hate you for that. But as one of your fellow fundies is so fond of pointing out, it's possible to be sincere and to be sincerely wrong.
Besides making my head explode every time I read one of her comments (and I actually made the mistake of joining the forum just to argue with her.. literally only lasted about 3 hours) I really..... .... well, no, I really don't like her at all. And it scares me to think that she might be living in the same state as me. Maybe driving in her car down Route 40 right next to me some days...... *shudder*
When did Jesus say those things? Got the specific verses? No, I'm not trying to mock you, I'm truthfully curious. I don't remember them from the last time I read the Bible.
And as for "slander" - you stop slandering atheists and we'll stop making fun of you. Sound good?
Of course it doesn't. You're Carico. Everything bounces off.
Slander means to utter a malicious, false, and defamatory statement, i.e., what Carico does every time she sets up strawmen and attributes false action and motives to anyone who doesn't share her whacked-out views.
Carico: Stop slandering atheist, freethinkers, moderate and liberal christians, and just about 90 percent of the rest of the world's population - and we'll stop telling the TRUTH about you.
I don't hate Carico either. Her posts are never vicious, nor does she seem especially racist, and she spells and writes well. She just doesn't check facts before posting, and has a bizarre thinking process that makes my head spin. She's kind of the Kelly Bundie of the fundie forums (Kelly Fundie?).
If going to Heaven means having your weak knowledge of science, I prefer Hell, HONESTLY. And so does 80% of the world. And you know, the very mechanism of this website demonstrates that you´re going against "thou shalt not bear false testimony"
I don't hate you, Carico. I just think you're highly biased, so much so that you make posts without checking the validity of your statements.
Slander is spoken, by the way; you're thinking libel. And that would have to be proven false (as we have done with some of your posts).
We really don't hate you - we have fun at your expense, yes, but that isn't hate. We would just like you to try to be more informed before posting.
They don't hate you. They don't like you, but they don't hate you.
And the reason that they don't like you has nothing to do with the fact that you're a Christian, and everything to do with the fact that you're a jeering, obnoxious douchebag with the apparent reasoning ability of a bucket of fermented chum.
It's actually perfectly possible to be a Christian, even an evangelical, without being an obnoxious twat. It's only impossible in the minds of wannabe martyrs like you.
>>So as Jesus said; "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." "No servant can be greater than his master." <<
Really? Where did Jesus say that? And what was the _context_?
"So the slander of atheists proves Jesus right once again."
So, does the slander of Donatists prove them right? Does the slander of the Anabaptists prove them right? Does the slander of the Mormons in the 19th century prove them right? Does the slander of the snake-handlers in the early 20th century prove them right?
All of these sects, and many others, claimed to be Christian. All of them were slandered, opposed and in some cases physically attacked by their fellow Christians. Using your explanation, all of them were right, despite having grossly differing definitions of what it means to be a Christian. It could be that your god is incredibly inconsistent (an assumption that is very much supported by even a casual reading of the bible). However, I think a more parsimonious explanation is that the whole, "I am oppressed, that alone proves that I am right" argument is a lot of hooey.
Confused?
