According to this book, the author is a lezbo. Did Anne Frank even exist? I don't think so. Why so much tribute is given to this book boggles my imagination. It's not great literature. Its story is likely bogus. The content is meaningless ramblings. So, why celebrate it? To keep the holocaust myth going.

Maybe the original's not fundie, but that's much truer.
Most of the time I have a very hearty laugh with the silliness I see on FSTDT. Even at the most outrageous, I can honestly think "Poe," and continue laughing.
This one... Too real. Not funny, just horribly, horribly real.
Please Rassilon no.
Just...no.
What a lezbo? I don't find it in the dictionary?
Holocaust denial, in the land where it took plce, Germany, is a crime you can go to jail for.
Where does it say in Anne's diary that she was a lesbian? If I remember right she had a romance with Peter van Daan.
And even if she was a lesbian (or 'leezbo' as GangstaLawya so eloquently states) why would it matter? Oh yes, because fundies think that homosexuals are sub-human scum.
God exists, but Anne Frank didn't. Sure, fine, if you say so. (backs away slowly, with hands in plain sight)
Yes, and the guys who killed her(with records)in a concrete place and time, after arresting her in a concrete place and time, with birth certificate and so, are zionists with a swastika in disguise. The best, however, is the ad-hominem insult.
Don't read the mass of reviews if you want to keep any faith in humanity whatsoever.
Most of it seems to be from one or two anonymous people, who call it "boring" and complain about the lack of story. Obviously, they don't get that it's a freaking DIARY.
There's one or two that actually imply that nobody cares about the Holocaust, and one guy went on and on about how Anne whined too much and was a bad writer.
Bloody hell, what's wrong with these people??
All right, then let me give you my review of "Mein Kampf."
According to this book, the author is a racist lunatic. Did the Jews even cause WWI, which left Germany in ruins? I don't think so. Why so much tribute is given to this book by neo-Nazis boggles my imagination. It's not great literature. Its story is likely bogus. The content is meaningless ramblings. So, why celebrate it? To keep the Aryan superiority myth going.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA..???
*brain explodes*

"And perhaps she may have developed into a great writer in later years if the Nazis hadn't gassed her and 8 million other people."
Hah! Shows what you know, you gullible Holocaust gullible-ist!
Everybody knows that, statistically speaking, Anne Frank probably died of starvation rather than the gas chamber.
Tell me GangstaLawyer, since I happen to have a copy of this book, could you point me to the part in which she comes out as a lesbian?
Only having read it cover to cover several tiems, I seem to have missed that bit.
Oh, I also seem to have missed the part in my history lessons where the Shoah never happened. Perhaps those films of the liberation of Belsen, Dachau etc., that I saw were all made up, were they?
Get a brain, fucktard.
Of course she existed. I've been to her fuckin' home in Amsterdam!
And even if the author was lesbian, it apparently makes the book crap?
Technically, Anne Frank wasn't a lesbian, but she did discuss having feelings for other girls. But didn't she have feelings for a boy as well? Yay, bisexuals in history.
socktree:
Yes, what you said. *sigh* Doesn't matter either way, though. :\
This person is disgusting. CSTDT, though.
Anne Frank's diary is great literature. There is no limit on what decides greatness, be it prose style or content or something else.
But since GangstaLawya is an ignorant cunt, his/her opinions don't matter
Wow, just wow... because of the stupidity.
And the last sentence makes me wanna puke on this guy, repeatedly.
Apparently you missed the part where Anne got her first kiss from Peter van Pels. And she liked it!
Maybe Anne would have gotten better as a writer...if SHE'D LIVED AND NOT DIED IN SOME HELLISH CAMP SET UP BY THOSE DAMNED NAZIS WHOM YOU SEEM TO SYMPATHIZE WITH! How can you expect writing to be good if the writer doesn't have the time to practice and learn? I suppose you think people ought to be BORN with good writing skills........pus-filled fleshbag....
Way to go Nazi, mighty white of you.
Come to Canada you'll be dealt with.
Forget Anne Frank, Forget the Holocaust, Forget WW2.
Forget life and reality while you're at it.
Eat shit twice (not a big deal since you always eat shit) and die
Annelies Frank was a young teenager (and a bisexual, not a "lezbo") who wrote about her daily life in Amsterdam during WWII. She did not write for other people's eyes, really, that might be why it's not great literature. You can see the process of a young girl growing into a woman in the writing. It does not feel bogus in the slightest.
Why celebrate it (if that is what we are doing)? To remind people that it is indeed real, that it actually DID happen, that we must never forget, or it will happen again. That's why. And people like you show that it's just as important still to "celebrate" it each and every day.
There were several people alive recently (the last one, Miep, died in 2010, aged 100) who could testify about the veracity of the diary of Anne Frank, and the lives of Anne, Margot, Peter and the others in the book. The house is still there, with the concealing door and everything. I've been there myself and it definitely looks genuine enough. There was a large class cage filled with "useful parts", i.e. hair and teeth from holocaust victims.
Between 11 and 17 million people were gone after WWII. They did not all just decide to travel to the moon, ya know.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
