We are all born with that 'God Spot' that only He can fill. Even the atheists and agnostics have to admit that something in their lives is missing, because they can't quench the 'God Spot' with anything else in this world.
The God spot that is created in each and everyone of us gives me a reason to believe that all these tribal groups that have never heard of the name of Jesus, will still have a chance to accept him. I know this is not in the Bible, but neither does the Word speak of such people. I do believe that somehow they will know...maybe by messenger angels...before they die and have a chance to acknowledge Jesus as their Lord. Thats MHO.

Wrong and/or an outright lie.
But then again it is from RR so shouldn't expect anything else I suppose
"We are all born with that 'God Spot' that only He can fill."
Let me guess, you learned this stupidity in Sunday School when you were five and you think it's the epitome of philosophical argument for your god's existence, right?
"Even the atheists and agnostics have to admit that something in their lives is missing,"
Yeah, about a million dollars and hordes of gorgeous women beating a path to my door to bask in the awesomeness that is me.
"because they can't quench the 'God Spot' with anything else in this world."
You're amusing.
"Thats MHO."
Well, you know what they say about opinions...
"I know this is not in the Bible, but (...)"
Neither is the Rapture, but you've probably conditioned yourself to ignore this inconvenient fact.
"We are all born with that 'God Spot' that only He can fill."
And your proof is?
"Even the atheists and agnostics have to admit that something in their lives is missing, because they can't quench the 'God Spot' with anything else in this world."
I do not "admit" any such thing. That assertion and the assertion that I "admit" it are both just wet piles of crap.
"The God spot that is created in each and everyone of us gives me a reason to believe that all these tribal groups that have never heard of the name of Jesus, will still have a chance to accept him."
Incorrect assumption always lead to incorrect conclusions.

Neither is my aunt Mary's shoe size. So what?

With opinions such as those you are wise to be humble.

Really? Do I have to admit to what you tell me I believe?
So, what, are we all heartless or is this sex?
Or is he referring to the fact most of us have innies? Is that what a protruding belly button is, faith?
On the first part, I was going to ask where in the bible this so-called "god spot" is. Then she answers in the second part, she admits it's not in there, and then says the bible does not speak of such people. The logical conclusion to this is to admit the bible is incomplete and imperfect. I doubt she's intelligent enough to make this connection, though. Most funies can't think logically enough to follow the directions on a box of mac and cheese. I think fundies are the reason they put toaster instructions on packages of Pop-Tarts, and they're 3-4 steps at that.

Well I've come to accept that I'm probably not going to get laid for a few years due to external circumstances beyond my control.

You know this HOW, exactly?
Wrong.

Even if you were right, it would only prove that your emotional makeup is the product of millennia of unnatural selection performed upon the human race by unethical shamans who had your more critically-thinking ancestors put to death.

If that's the best that you can do with your mind reading, then keep your day job.

Stop adding to Scripture, you vile heretic! If Holy Scripture doesn't provide a way for those people to be saved, then your omnibenevolent God must have predestined them to eternal damnation. Either that, or maybe, just maybe, you've hit upon a flaw in your religion's plan of salvation.
"God spot"
hahahahahahahaha!
Fuck the "God Spot." If someone would direct KarateMom to her G-Spot, she might become a nicer person
... or at least a person who is too busy to post crap on the Internet.
Even the atheists and agnostics have to admit that something in their lives is missing
You don't know me and I don't know you so stop saying how I think and feel. You don't know this so shut the fuck up!
That's what I love about fundies: their complete lack of presumption.
I know this is not in the Bible
Then you are just making stuff up so again, please, shut the fuck up!
"We are all born with that 'God Spot' that only He can fill."
Um, no, sweetie. It's called, "find yourself a good boy/girlfriend and put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door."
Trust me, that'll make it all better.
So, if there's a real need for us all to worship your god, then why, exactly, are there people like me who've left him for other gods?
Quote 'Thats MHO '. Which is completely unsupported by scripture because, as you've already have admitted: 'I know this is not in the Bible '.
In other words, you're making all this crap up as you go along. Why am I not surprised this is from 'Rapture Ready'?
I'll touch your "godspot", karatemom.
And by "godspot" I mean "clitoris"
And by touch, I mean "stimulate in a consensual sexual encounter"
hawwwwwwwwwwwwt
And the Athiests, Buddhists, Pagans and Satanists who live perfectly, fulfilled lives fit where into your dim witted fantasy land assertions?
Took one to many kicks to the head there Karatemom?
To be honest, I think my wife does a pretty good job of hitting my "g-spot", so I think I can do without god, thanks.
"Life's not a bitch, life is a beotch who keeps the villagers circling the marketplace out searching for the G-spot"--Aesop Rock, Night Life
To think that I have been interpreting this lyric incorrectly for all these years.

Holy book let you down? Prophesy falling short? Just desperately invent any old rambling shit you can think of to fill in the gaps, then wildly assert that it must be canon because it makes you feel better. And, since you have just basically reproduced the process by which most of the rest of the book was written anyway, you technically have just as much right to claim prophetic accuracy as any of the original authors. (This happens to be zero, but don't get hung up on technicalities)

I do not have a "god spot".
I do not know if god exists, and deep down, you probably don't either. That's why you have to fill your head with this BS everday, to assure yourself that your right.
Hello KarateMom,
We might all be missing things in our lives, God is a placebo and doesn't fill any of those. The more you live your fantasy, the more you realize that God doesn't answer your prayers, the more you will notice that you have a spot of your own that isn't filled. And what most fundamentalists do is try to get that spot filled with more prayer.
I can understand why she thinks this, being conditioned all her life to believe that God is the only REAL purpose in life. So no God = no purpose.
I'm agnostic, and have lots of things to fill my life if there is no God: my family, my friends, looking for a permanent and satisfying job, my internet friends at TWoP and TV Tropes and FSTDT, and my love of literature. I am fulfilled with purpose for my life, and none of them include God (except as a hobby by reading about religion.)
wow. so many people who can't think. I'll give you a lil support from a guy who's brain isn't constipated.
the bible itself says that to every man is given a measure of faith. it doesn't however say what that man will put it in. that is for them man to decide.and just to add to what "fudgethis" said. yeah buddy.sex,drugs,porn,drinking,steeling,etc. those are all that you attempt to fill that spot with and yet you still search for more.oops I'm sorry. didn't mean to pwn you.
I feel empty when I haven't dipped tobacco in a few hours. But aside from that, my life is pretty fulfilling. Nice theory you moron. I was raised Catholic and I never felt better in my life when I told everyone I knew that I was an atheist. I guess some people like to think for themselves better than living off the advice of an ancient storybook.
"The God spot that is created in each and everyone of us..."
Out, out damned spot!
Shakespeare [Macbeth]
I have heard this little story before, but it was a "hole" that is god shaped.
This story is WAY funnier!
Can someone please touch my G-Spot!!!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
