To an extent, I understand not wanting pets to be tested on, but the fact that it isn't enslavement and instead about helping them, this person is fucking crazy.

So... chips that are used to keep info about who the owner is and contact details, along (possibly) with some detailed medical notes about said animal, is bad in your mind?
It's going to be a lot better for me if I could replace that with some form of chip so I don't have to keep changing the fucking details, written in really tiny letters that are hard to read, every few fucking months...

Actually, RFID are to make sure that your pets can be identified in case they go missing. It's a pretty good idea if you don't mind the distress of taking them to the vet.

The bible verse says the antichrist or someone will forbid doing any ecomonic transaction unless you have the mark of the beast on you. Credit cards, those bar codes on everything and now RFID chips have each in turn been proof that the end of the world is coming.

I have actually made it a point, when dealing with these freaks who think we are all going to be implanted with chips and that they are the Mark of the Beast, that microchips are old technology and that the real danger is from nanoparticles delivered via bottled water. I can hardly wait until they start desseminating that one. Ha ha.

It's a good thing you don't live in Boston. The T, Boston's subway, has a smart card that stores your fares or monthly passes. You'd be afraid of being "tracked." You can pay with cash, so there's no way that could be done, but there's no convincing the paranoid set.
