By "non liberal" I take it you mean "conservative". And by "conservative" I take it you mean "far-right wing, authoritarian, fundamentalist Christian".

If everyone was like that, we'd still be in the fucking dark ages. We'd always be at war with anyone non-Christian. In fact, we'd have probably commited many genocides against non-Christian peoples, the size and scope of which would make Nazi's attempts look minuscule and amateurish by comparison. Hell, even being Christian wouldn't save someone; there would be numerous divides amongst various sects and other groups. We'd be overpopulated and constantly racked by disease. We'd be raping the environment as we flounder to desperately, inefficiently keep society ticking over.

In short, it would be a monumental clusterfuck. But hey, you'd probably enjoy it even more than your little fantasy.

Nobody gathering themselves into little tribes of similarity and spreading negative rumours about others who aren't just like them until all of those who do not or can not conform to the tribal norms are considered less than human and completely evil ??

If everyone but conservative people was wiped out by a special man made liberal killing virus tomorrow it'd be the happiest day of your life ... but then ... about a week later you'd start noticing that a few of your neighbours just weren't quite conservative enough ... two weeks later they're not true conservatives at all !! Three weeks later they're evil wicked subhuman creatures !!! Four weeks later you're waiting for the scientists to finish work on that false conservative killing virus they promised.

There WERE a time when everyone was non-liberal, as Liberalism is a fairly new idea. That time is now known as the Dark-Ages, and it was NOT an era of advancement in science, quite the reverse, actually.

Everyone but the richest of the rich worked all day long every day but Sunday, when you had to go to church or be punished. Few people lived to see their fiftieth birthday. People had lots and lots of kids, but many of the kids died before the age of five, of now-treatable diseases, one of which was bad hygiene. Girlymen was not a word, but minstrel was. Propogana was not a world, but propaganda, from the Catholic church, was; "obey or die" was the essence of the propaganda.

There were a lot of worthless bastards, in different meanings of those words. For example: as there were no contraceptives or abortions, kids were born out of wedlock all the time, many had to fend for themselves at a very young age. It wasn't really a crime to rape someone, unless her father, brother or husband was important, then it could lead to a death sentence.
