What could be more beautiful than young love - spontaneous, overpowering, euphoric, exciting. Endless popular movies, songs and novels celebrate it. But the Torah prohibits any sexual stimulation outside of marriage and many people find this to be very oppressive.

Is there another side of the coin which doesn't always get in the movies? What are some of the downsides of sex outside marriage?

On the other hand, I doubt anyone has regretted chastity.

All of those things happen within marriage too. The certificate and the "I do" won't protect from STDs, rejection, betrayal, depression, stalking, rape, unwanted pregnancies, abortion, suicide or murder.

Then, for heaven's sake, concentrate on the young boys instead of the young girls, stigmatize the young boys for "destroying" a chaste bride-to-be, or whatever stupid idea you can think up. Stop blaming only the girls, ok!
(But I doubt that it's merely(/i] because men demand it, the women probably want to, a little bit too. Why the use of the words "girls" and "men", btw?)

I bet quite a few regret some of the chastity, when they finally found out what fun it is, and how much more fun they could have had.

That can lead to depression, then murder and/or suicide(a twofer again!)
A couple not wanting a kid this early in their marriage getting an abortion(yet another twofer!, I'm getting good at this)
Rejection can arise from arranged marriages, or mariage of of convience(ex: people who wanted to keep the kid, but afterwards, well they hate each other)
Pubic crabs, Genital herpes ,Genital warts, Gonorrhea, Syphilis; depening who you talk too, toilet seats
HIV; hmmm cheating(a twofer again!) OR the fact that sometimes, people can be HIV positive b/c their mum was....every think of that ass clown?

First of all moron, young love doesn't have to involve sex. Now to go to your list.

STDs - Yes, although the chances of catching one are pretty rare.

Rejection - Of what? If two people loved each other enough to go all the way, rejection seems pretty unlikely.
Betrayal - I guess, though again, if two people really love each other, they're not gonna want to betray one another.
Depression - Possible, depending on the circumstances.
Stalking - How?
Date rape - That's not a consequence of sex, it IS sex. Forced/Non-consensual sex and love doesn't factor into that scenario, at all.
Unwanted pregnancy - Yes.
Abortion - If pregnancy occurs, then it's possible.
Sometimes suicide - HIGHLY unlikely, but not impossible. Again, it depends on the circumstances.
Occasionally even murder - Honor killings happen, but again, the likelihood of it is very low.

And as others have said, all those things can happen within marriage, which renders your whole argument meaningless.

I like how you only mention promiscuous girls when there are plenty of man whores out there. How many guys does a girl have to sleep with in her lifetime to be considered promiscuous to you, jp? One? Two?
Also, it's perfectly possible to catch STD's within a marriage. Let's say John or Jane have saved themselves, and they marry someone who's already had sex and has contracted an STD (and you only need to have sex with a person once to catch something from them, so the spouse isn't necessarily "promiscuous" either). Or John or Jane is a faithful husband or wife, and their spouse starts cheating on them and catches an STD from their lover, which they pass on.

I'm sorry, was this supposed to be convincing? Any goober could make up a list of negative things for damn near any action. Walking to work could get you mugged, run over by a bus, lost, dehydrated, hungry, sweaty, you could twist your ankle, you might get splashed by a mud puddle, etc. Should people not walk to work because of these things?
