In terms of the pedophile situation because homosexuality is a psychological issue , emotional issue as well as a spiritual issue it is not unusual that you are going to find a high number of gay persons who are pedophiles or struggle with pedophilia and other sexual issues. How many pedophiles are not gay? How many are gay?

Anyway - so you make a big issue out of a peadophille being gay but do not offer any conjecture over why the straight adults are peadophiles?
Interesting - according to you, gays are pschologically messed up therefor prone to peadophillia. SO what about the other peadophilles? I think you will also probably find that most peadophilles are straight and that the ratio of gay/straight peadophillia is roughly the same ration as gay/straight people. So it would seem sexuality has fuck all to do with it.
A family member was the victim of an opposite-sex pedophile. If one person shows a link between homosexuality and pedophilia, doesn't one person also show a link between heterosexuality and pedophilia? Oh, but - all together now - that's different!

I would say the same of you, Ciara. For instance, you don't seem to have any idea that most pedophiles are heterosexual.

I can agree on that. But so is heterosexuality, at least these days with all the conflicting things about sex people are fussing about.

How many pedophiles are not gay? How many are gay?
Several studies have found that 40% of pedophiles are neither gay nor straight. They just aren't sexually attracted to adults at all and have no sexual relationship with either men or women - what psychologists call "fixated". Of the remainder, the majority are straight, just as with the public at large. Also, the majority of pedophiles who molest boys are either fixated or straight in their adult relationships; pedophiles are quite rare among men who are actively gay with adult partners. Fixated or otherwise-straight pedophiles often molest boys because of opportunity: parents tend not to watch boys or warn them against sexual predators as carefully as they do with girls.
As most people are heterosexual, most pedophiles are also heterosexual. The gender of the child is not that important to the pedophile, it's the vulnerability that is enticing, the absolute power he or she can have over the child.
Please define the differences between psychological, emotional and spiritual. I find them very alike, almost synomyms.
I don't get the connection between homosexuality being psychological, and gays supposedly being pedophiles. Only gays trying to supress their homosexuality will have "other sexual issues", beyond the everyday sexual issues that anyone could have, regardless of orientation.

I'm not sure that there are any reliable figures, since paedophiles are by nature a furtive group, but here's a simple experiment anyone can try. Log onto a chatroom pretending to be an underage girl, and see how many older men try to chat you up. Then do the same pretending to be a boy, and see how many hits you get.
In my experience, most of the sickos who lurk in chatrooms looking for underage kids are looking for little girls, not little boys. (And there are a lot of them, sadly). Make of that what you will.

I have to disagree, by definition a paedophile is a paedophile. It's wrong and hurtful for gay people to be labelled as such, why should heterosexuals be any different?
Try telling that to the millions of girls who ahve been molested by fthers, stepfathers, uncles, brothers, etc., and as well as the boys who've been molested by females relatives or teacher (Mary Kay Leturneau (sp?) ring a bell?

So he put himself in a position of trust over boys. I can see why they would go for LGBT groups, the Hetero groups are way too paranoid to allow a single man into such a position. Oh, and they're only saying the leader was gay, what about the rest of the men in the group?
As a pedophile I can give you my 100% assurance that the majority of pedophiles are straight/prefer little girls. Also being a homosexual is not a psychological issue, nor is any sexual attraction for that matter. If you're attraction doesn't lead to you hurting other people, and it doesn't cause you any grief then it can't really be called a "psychological issue". I don't recall molesting any children recently and don't plan on doing so. Secondly I don't feel any grief as a result of my condition, I feel pretty damn good actually.
