Maybe your community will be the next one hit by a hurricane, tornado, or some other force of 'nature'.
Think about it. Where did the tsunami hit? In a morally polluted country. And Katrina took out morally corrupt New Orleans. San Francisco could have a monumental earthquake at any moment. (They've had several warnings.)

Oh my god! Hurricanes in Louisiana! Earthquakes in California! Who could have ever expected that? This is surely a sign of the endtimes!
Seriously, the tsunami affected several countries, so I don't know which one it is you are referring to as "morally polluted", but it is a safe bet that you have never visited any of them, and are in no position to pass judgement.
Katrina also took out a good part of the Bible Belt. How do you explain that? In fact, further to your hypothesis that liberal societies lead to natural disasters, how do you explain the fact the Netherlands and Scandinavia have had no significant incidents in recent history?
you can try all you want, but you can't prove the existance of a god much less if a certain storm is the work of said god, nor if the storm was sent as a punishment for any group of people, nor prove that said area was indeed 'evil', nor explain why a disaster didn't strike somewhere terrorists were planning an attack.
Instead, you're just being a smug prick who thinks he/she has a lock on love, goodness and morals.
You remember the prick how prayed for a baby with a hairy ass crack as a brother? I think this deRanged might fall into a similar category of minds - vile and self-righeous.
Personal feelings aside, casting a hurricane or a tsunami on a "morally polluted country" is a veeeery broad brush to cleanse with, right? It is very probable to hit your own people with that, I think (and by the way, think of the people down there who may never have heard of christianity, isn't it mean to kill them because of that?).
A funny version of god you have there, Mister.
Think about it.
OK, you first IDIOT!
Where did the tsunami hit?
Ummmm that would be the coastline to the East and West of a North/South tectonic fault in the Indian Ocean.
And Katrina took out morally corrupt New Orleans.
Yeah nothing to do with it being below sea level and all the protective marshes being dredged for corporate profit!
San Francisco could have a monumental earthquake at any moment
Yes - you'd be thinking about the San Andreas Fault wouldn't you! Tectonic plate slippage causes Earthquakes. Smart people gave up on the "God chucking a massive wobbly Theory" a very long time ago!
What about the good Christians who died due to Katrina or the tsunami?
Is your made-up god so f**king useless that he couldn't avoid killing them too?
What sort of jealous, second-rate, clumsy god is this?
Give me Thor any day
San Francisco could have a monumental earthquake at any moment.
Well let's see; the last big one they had was in 1909, and all the churches were destroyed. The only large building untouched was a whiskey distillery. Charles Field, a California assembleyman, even made up a little poem about it:
If, as they say, God spanked the town
For being over-frisky,
Why did He burn His churches down
And spare Hotaling's whiskey?
Unfortunately, somebody rebuilt the churches.
New York City, that hotbed of corruption and liberalism, has been pretty free of natural disasters. Las Vegas has gotten off pretty lightly, too.
Katrina destroyed a number of Baptist churches. If God is trying to punish the morally corrupt, He must have pretty lousy aim.
In a morally polluted country?, which one, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Myanar........?, come on, the list is great.
These Fundies sure think their omniscient, omnipotent, good and loving God works with some mighty blunt tools. In Katrina, the French quarter, where a gay pride event was scheduled, was largely spared, while many churches were flooded. The Tsunami took out Xians, Muslims, Hindus and others. If these are acts of God, apparently God doesn't care what one believes, just as long as he can kill people.
If moral corruption is the requirement for natural disaster, and homosexuality is the greatest of all moral corruptions, then no where is safe, and Ted Haggard's New Life Church should have been blasted like Soddom years ago.
san francisco could have an earthquake at any moment because it's on a fucking geological fault.
oh, that's right--you fundies don't believe in geological faults! GOD LOOSES DISASTERS ON PEOPLE RANDOMLY! that's why there's all those darned hurricanes and earthquakes in canada, where gay marriage is legal.
It's more than a geological fault that SF is on. Fault lines are in all sorts of places. No, The San Francisco Bay Area, and much of the West Coast for that matter, is where the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate meet. That's why the ground never stops moving here. God has nothing to do with it.
The last mjor tsunami hit several countrys where public (and private) morality are on solid ground.
But maybe you could specify the name of that "morally polluted country" that it hit.
The Katrina hurricane hit the american bible belt. Are you suggesting that american christian fundamentalism is moraly corrupt?
San francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, etc etc. Thats what happens when you build citys on active faults.
The Netherlands, home of the most morally bankrupt city in the world (Amsterdam) hasn't been destroyed yet. Does that mean that their superior flood-control methods out perform God to an extent even greater than iron chariots? They've not had a major problem with flooding in a very long time, you know.
As I have a friend who lost a parent in a fatal natural disaster, deRodes tempts me to say something very, very obscene.
By the way, anyone else get this ad?

:D
And it's just for this reason that a tornado struck the Goshen Methodist Church near Piedmont, AL, on March 27 (Palm Sunday), 1994, ripping it apart and killing 20 parishoners. For example.
...And tornadoes rip through the Bible Belt every year, many places in the US South have been ravaged by floods, and no major natural disasters have hit Amsterdam in quite some time.
Care to play again, deRodes?
Think about it. Where did the tsunami hit? In a morally polluted country.
And took out many, many good Christians in the process, I would imagine. Oh, but I'm sure they aren't TRUE Christians if they visited such a depraved place, right?
And Katrina took out morally corrupt New Orleans.
Except the French Quarter made it through Katrina virtually unscathed, if I recall correctly...
San Francisco could have a monumental earthquake at any moment. (They've had several warnings.)
Any minute now. Aaaaaaany minute. *Checks watch.* Now, while we're on the topic of God's wrath...what portion of the States is most prone to tornadoes...?
Because god, being the smart fellow that he is, created the San Andreas Fault eons before the city of San Francisco was founded, knowing that one day it would come in useful.
Fuck knows what god's got in store for Amsterdam.
Since natural disasters strike virtually everywhere, every country is apparently "morally polluted."
And New Orleans is still there,
As a matter of fact, there was just something like a tornado here in So. Calif. Wednesday night. Blew out power all over and it just came back on tonight at 11 p.m., 3 days later.
So - Jesus?
Or god tried to take out San Francisco, missed and hit my back yard, and Edison has thwarted him like an iron chariot?
Confused?
