Jews' role in starting WW2? They were rounded up as “undesirable” and shipped off to internment camps. When the camps were full, the Nazis began exterminating most of the Jews on entering the camps, just keeping the healthiest ones who could work themselves to death. Nobody cared much about this. Then Hitler decided to invade Poland. When he refused to cease and desist with the invasion, the world declared war on Germany.
I'd say Jews are not the only ones practicing usury; most Conservative companies seem to engage in it to some extent.

@Wyzard: This is a long tradition in America of religious wackadoodles becoming Orthodox clergy. Apparently, there are Orthodox "bishops" here that will "bestow the priesthood" on anyone who requests it. They just have to lay hands on that person and declare them a priest (have no idea if this is how Orthodox ordinations work or not). I read about one case where a priesthood was bestowed over the phone, with one guy putting the receiver on top of his head (!!??) while the guy on the other side of the line spoke the words.

He's kinda right about Jews being assholes nowadays, but at least they have a damn good reason to be assholes (the Holocaust, the Muslims around Israel, etc), so they're still much better than you Christian types.
