Let's say you have a family living next door to you. The man is a widower and has a 16 year old daughter, who, let's just say is close to your own daughter if you have one.

Would it be okay if that man, the girl's father, fell into sexual love with his 16 year old daughter, asked to have her emancipated so that he was free to marry her and have children with her? I mean, after all, he always had a desire to have a daughter to marry, he was born that way.

Why isn't that okay? Shouldn't incest be okay too? If everyone wants to fight for it to be okay for a man and a man to hug and kiss and do whatever, why isn't it okay for parents to marry their children? Don't they have rights?

See where I'm going? God made the rules. Homosexuality, incest, beastiality, lying, murdering, cheating, stealing are SINS. They are NOT allowed under any circumstance (and I'm not talking about stumbling, or our natural sinful old flesh, that's not what I'm referring to).

So, why is this so hard to understand? I say this in a curious way and not a hateful way... I just don't get why people fight against their creator and the rules He created.

Two homosexual adults with consent is MUCH MUCH different than adults having sex with children and animals, who cannot consent. Nor it is comparable to murder, lying, cheating, and stealing.

Incest, although physically capable, is biological issue more than a moral issue. Humans (and I am sure many animals) usually have an aversion to have sex with their close kin because the offspring would sometimes have undesirable traits (further proved by modern science). By the way, as many have said, Lot and his daughters had an incestual relationship...mostly because his daughters were retarded thinking they were the last people on Earth after Sodom, Gomorrah, et. al. were destroyed, and raped their dad after getting him drunk. And God let it be! Isn't he wonderful.

God did not make the "rules". Men who created God made the rules. If there was no mankind, there would not be any Gods, now would there?

Bestiality and child molestation are wrong because both 'partners' are not consenting. A parent manipulating their daughter into marrying them, even if they're both adults, is wrong, as he would be abusing his position of authority and thus eliminating his daughter's ability to consent. Here in Canada, 16 is the age of consent, but if the older party is in a position of authority (teacher, parent, uncle, etc.), it is still considered statutory rape up until the age of 18 (I think). Incest is wrong if the couple chooses to have a child, given the genetic risks. Plus, the vast majority of incest cases involve rape and molestation (usually a parent or aunt/uncle starts abusing a child when they're young, and "conditions" them to think it's okay). At any rate, if two adult family members suddenly fall in love and want to have sex, they should be free to do so provided they don't produce any offspring. It's a bit icky, but as long as they're not harming anyone, so be it. Same goes for polygamy.

You can't compare any of the above examples to gays. Two homosexuals getting married = both parties are consenting adults. They're not hurting anyone and no one is being forced to do anything. Same-sex attraction isn't linked with child abuse, despite what you people think, nor is it caused by it. Why is it so hard for you people to understand the role that consent plays here? And what do lying, murdering, cheating, stealing, etc. have to do with anything?

If one is creating rules, one should justify them. There is justification for banning murder, rape, assault, theft, molestation, and so on, but there is NO justification for banning homosexuality. How can something be immoral if no one is being hurt by it (and you lot being offended by two men holding hands doesn't count)?

1) Incest is not a sexual orientation. Conflating the situation you described with a loving homosexual relationship is offensive.

2) No, God did not make the rules. The Founding Fathers made the rules. Those laws (and state and local laws) are the only ones with any force in the US. Any laws you personally choose to follow you must recognize as such.

If I started a religion, and claimed to have been visited by the High Holy Lord Flabbaloo, and I gained a following, and my religion grew to constitute a majority of Americans (due to our sexual permissiveness and other lax beliefs), would I be justified in pushing through Congress a legal version of the First Ruling of the High Holy Lord Flabbaloo, which states that all texts venerating Middle Easterners from more than one thousand years ago may not be publicly read, quoted or even alluded to?

your whole thing falls apart when you totally fail to understand. our definitions of right and wrong are drastically different. bring up beastiality, incest, prostitution, I don't care.
unlike you I can reason as to WHY something is immoral. the key word in sex is consent. if it's there then I don't care.

I hate it when they bring up the "bad side" of an issue and my answer is so often "and your point is?" "you say that like it's a bad thing" ect...

one single problem no one is taking the time to beat them with, people think differently then you. they consistently fail to, and need to, understand that one fact alone. if even we can convince them that the world out side their moms house and their church is a strange and alien place then maybe they'll be scared enough to leave us alone.

Sex between consenting adults is the idea being fostered by the legalisation of homosexuality. If the girl is of legal age (which also assumes she is mentally capable of being responsible for her own decisions at that age) and decides "yes I would very much like to have a bit of rumpy-pumpy with Papa" then you go girl.
The reason pedophilia is mostly reviled and regarded as morally wrong is not because your God said so, it is that children are usually assumed to not be independent, responsible and wise enough to make the most correct decisions for themselves and therefore need guidance from those that do have those faculties developed. Taking advantage of their naivete is not very nice. As a being capable of some rudimentary cogitation this should be reasonably apparent to you. THAT is why pedophilia (and not homosexuality) is wrong.
This habit of Raptards & their ilk taking their morality from authority instead of actual contemplation and concern for fellow beings leads to all sorts of societally unpalatable (re)actions.

There, it's in the Bible. Can't have sex with woman and then her daughter. But since you damned fundies ignore most of the rest of the book of Lev, you'll probably ignore this too.
Even though it's a really fucking bad idea and your daughter will be horribly emotionally scarred for life.
BTW, in case you were wondering, Lot's daughters had sex with him a little after he offered them to the folks in Gommorah as virgins.

Yes, as long as they don't actually have children and adopt children instead.

I think the real issue with incest is it usually ends up being coerced or abusive, but there are cases of legitimate love between the incestuous couple.

Incest is apparently okay in God's eyes if you're in the immediate family of Adam and Eve or the immediate descendents of Noah. And murder is okay too, looking at Samson, Gideon, most everyone else in the Book of Judges, David, Joshua, etc.

The issue is CONSENTING ADULTS, dumbass! Why do you only talk about what the parents want to do? What about the daughter or their children, what do they want; don't they have rights? Two men or two women are consenting adults, and BOTH want to hug and kiss and whatever.
