Global Warming? Really? What are you worried about? The left maintains that the right are anti-global warming conspiracy nutters. The right and I maintain that the left are all a bunch of socialist Chicken Little's running around screaming about nothing. Who's right? There's global warming. So, what?
I like warm weather. What gives YOU or anyone else the right to stop my enjoyment of warmer weather? If I don't agree with you what are you going to do? Put me in jail? Put me in a re-education camp and deny me my human rights? Shoot me?
Global warming, slobal gorming. Show me the document or the philosophical construct wherein you claim to own me, my body and my thoughts. If I don't agree with you and if many millions of others like me don't agree with you, what are you prepared to do about it big guy? Huh? Bernie Sanders going to protect you?
Don't you get it yet? We don't want a socialist world and we like it warm.

What about weather that contributes to crop failures and the spread of diseases into places where they weren't found previously? You like that, too?
Do you like weather that causes people in other parts of the world to starve, destabilizes nations and displaces populations? What about weather that actually kills off species of plant and animal?
Because that's what you're going to get. In fact, that's what you're ALREADY getting.
From what I can tell US conservatives and right wingers ARE anti climate change claiming it to be a conspiracy or even a religion (sic). It may not matter to you, but some of us (like myself) live near the coast. I myself live on the most densely populated island in the UK which is also one of the most densely populated islands on the planet. So how about you tell the population of Portsmouth that, or the residents of Gloucester whose homes are flooding almost yearly now! If you did you'd get a steaming cup of fuck off as well as a punch in the face.

You don't have to agree. Nobody has ever told you that you have to agree. But you do have to obey the law. Whenever congress grows up and becomes functional, there may be restrictions placed on things you own and things you do. You don't even have to like it, but you do have to obey......
.....because I'm fed up to here with numbskulls who don't understand the science and don't want to recognize what's happening. It isn't just going to get warmer all over, gently and softly. The weather is going to swing to wider extremes of cold and hot and wet and dry, and the storms will cause damage to you and others, and the price of oranges will go through the roof while the quality goes down, but that's OK, YOU'LL be fine because you don't believe it.

Global warming doesn't mean you're going to be warmer. In fact, in one scenario, it could cause a southern shift in the gulf stream so that the British Isles will become more like Canada. I don't know how this became a left/right thing, except that the people who stand to lose money if we attack global warming like the Koch brothers and the oil companies have made it into one and people are dumb enough to believe it.

That started years ago. There are some fundies who can read a graph so well they can no longer lie to themselves. They say we didn't cause it so we can't stop it, and while they can't ignore the existence of current warming they ignore the predictions of future warming.
