@Malingspann Who in their right mind would think that?
@arp Still think I’m a fundamentalist, huh? If you’d bother reading my DeviantArt page beyond what the OP shares, you’d know that I am one of many non-fundamentalist conservatives and even libertarians who enjoy the show for its original narrative regardless of its gender/sex politics. In fact, I find most episodes are about how to be a good person instead of the lesbianism. How can any sane person dislike that?
@pyro By a bunch, you mean two, one of which was debatably mutual?
@Creativerealms You’re saying it can’t be both a gimmick and a natural progression? They planned the entire show’s five seasons even before the first episode aired. To be honest, I didn’t even think it would make the nomination because it has a reputation for being one of the more divisive episodes among fans, casual and diehard.
@JustAlongForTheRide Are you really that dumb, OP who may or may not be LOOT? It wasn’t supposed to be a journal entry title. It’s included in the body text of my review journal entries that cover ENTIRE SEASONS in batches. For a guy who calls Christians ignorant without first getting to know them, you often fail to realize your own shortcomings in that department. You are but one example of genuinely sane atheists getting infected by SJW ideology.
Oh, and, come to think of it, the fact that I’m a conservative who has seen the entirety of Steven Universe should be enough evidence to prove that I’m not a fundamentalist. So, you never had any reason to post these smear campaign threads in the first place. I’ve seen the entire show for the same reason my parents, conservative to the core, have seen the entirety of Modern Family: it has an interesting original story.
The point is, you people need to stop polarizing and stereotyping me just because I believe in God! As a lesbian follower of mine on DA, who writes erotic short stories based on her romantic relationship no less, pointed out about a month ago, it takes more than just not liking what LGBT people do in private to qualify as a homophobe. Your site’s FAQ section may say that quoting me isn’t defamation, but negatively commenting on it and making incorrect assumptions about me is. IRL, I’m just an average man with an average life. For a site that promotes letting LGBT+ people being themselves, you seem pretty intent on making sure non-fundamentalist conservatives cannot ever be themselves.
Also, I don’t believe in a literal hell. Thought you ought to know.
You know what? I don’t know why I bother wasting my time with you. You’ll never change. No matter what I say, you will not change your minds and cling to the belief that I’m a fundamentalist just because I make a couple of gay jokes. And people wonder why comedy is dying.
