"Guess what, Rick? Most people in the US enjoy freedom. It's kind of why we have s many personal liberties. We don't like fascist control freaks who want to control every aspect of our lives, and that's why your sorry ass has no chance of ever disgracing the president's seat in the White House."
Mitt Romney - 2. (P)Rick Rantsorbum - 0.
Just South Carolina to go...!
Seems you haven't quite grasped this whole 'Democracy' thing, (P)Ricky-boy. It stems from the Greek words 'Demos' ('The People') and 'Kratos' ('Strength'), thus Strength of the People.
And it was the Strength of those individuals in New Hampshire yesterday who proved what you say, do and think...:
...oh, I get it now! You're all for democracy, but only if you are the one who's being voted in, amirite? By 'traditional conservatives'. On the other hand, last century a certain Austrian loved democracy - but only as far as when it suited his goals & purposes. Once he was safely voted in as Chancellor, however...! [/Godwin]
We can see through you & your ilk, (P)Rick. Just two words spring to mind: Christian Dominionism. Fortunately, so many in the US can see through you & your ilk's agenda as well. They remember WWII, and why it had to be fought, and who against; remember that certain Austrian...?
Thinking about South Carolina, if those on Ruptured Retards are depressed about New Hampshire yesterday:
Then they'll be almost suicidal should Romney make it a hat-trick, and thus secure the nomination. So many Teabaggers have said that they'll refuse to vote for Mitt as he's:
1- Not as 'traditionally conservative' as (P)Rick Rantsorbum.
2- That he 'flip-flops', policy-wise.
3- He's a Mormon.
Should said 'hat trick' come to pass, it should be fun to see said Teabaggers either:
1- Lose all 'faith' in democracy and 'opt out' of such in perpetuity.
2- Do some major 'flip-flopping' themselves, and vote for Romney, as doing so would be their very last hope against Obama's 2nd term. Ah, but then, they thought the sun shone out of John McCain's arse in 2009. When in 2008, the Religious Right considered McCain the worst RINO out there.
So either face utter humiliation by pandering to the niche electorate that are the Teabaggers, or the Repubicans lose a sizeable & significant amount of their electorate (and said Teabaggers hopefully made to lose faith that they'll never vote again), just to wheel out the only possibly credible candidate that'll appeal to the moderate Republicans/swing voters?
President Obama, that 2nd term is all but on that gold platter, waiting for you to receive. The next sound you will hear - post-Repubican candidate's conceding defeat later this year - will be the clink of spoons against glass/metal jugs. As everyone on Ruptured Retards start mixing up batches of the special Kool-Aid, to accelerate that lovely (C)Rapture of theirs! >:D
