[One Christian speaking to another about debating with atheists.]
"Don't you know that "smart" is all they know...If it weren't for their fabulous "knowledge and education", they wouldn't have anything to brag about!"
and, later, the same person, commenting in the same blog:
"I am to the point that I really think I am only wasting my time by trying to argue a legitimate point with them. We are never going to win with them because they can never see past their logical thinking ..."

It's true, I often try to get over the whole "logical thinking" thing, and education. They just get in the way of dogmatic, bronze age fairy-tales... wait, sorry, there I go, using my brain again...
Maybe there's something to that. My psychiatrist challenges me regularly to , ahem, feel before I start thinking. Embrace the emotion, like.
Even on raw instinct, I still smell poisonous bait in a very cruel trap. I want to be elsewhere. I am both fascinated and disgusted by that god-monger...
What in the furry panda ass?
Being logical is bad now? Being smart is bad now?
Did you flunk first grade when you were home schooled?
"If it weren't for their fabulous "knowledge and education", they wouldn't have anything to brag about!""
Well, now that you mention it, I am probably much smarter than you. I mean, you ARE on Myspace.
We are never going to win with them because they can never see past their logical thinking ...
Yes, logical thinking trumps citing passages from a 3000 year old book that con tradicts reality. The best tzhing you can hope for is, to see the light and stop believing in the literal truth of the bible ;)
No. We understand that you have beliefs that are based on faith and can't be proved by logic. We really do. We're not that dumb. As long as you admit that these are your beliefs and understand that others don't agree with you, and stop trying to push your beliefs into our laws and schools, we have no problem. But when you start asking for public school prayer, insisting that evolution be given equal time with Genesis, claiming homosexuals are an "abomination to God" and should be treated differently than straights and outlawing stem cell research funding, you're forcing others to adjust their lives to your wholly unsupported beliefs.

I never thought I'd see knowledge and education looked down upon like this. This is why the kids today know more about Halo than about math, physics, or literature.
"We are never going to win with them because they can never see past their logical thinking...."
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
That sums up the fundtards perfectly.

Yeah, atheists are so limited that way.
"If it weren't for their fabulous "knowledge and education", they wouldn't have anything to brag about!"
Something you clearly don't have. And yes, an education is a fabulous thing. It prevents ignorance. And knowledge? It means we know more than you. And the fact we know there is NO 'God' (and therefore can't be manipulated thusly) is what scares fundies like you.
Knowledge and Education. That is truly a miracle.
Them durnded atheists, wit' thar satanic book-lurnin' and thar fancy-schmancy scienticians.
They think they's so clever jist because they's got some knowlije and edumacation.
If it ain't in tha Bible, we ain't got no biznes knowin' it
'If it weren't for their fabulous "knowledge and education", they wouldn't have anything to brag about!'
Oh no? I'll have you know that I am also devastatingly handsome. Why do you think they call me El Guapo?
