[First the Rainbow, now the fish symbol to be used by gays]
I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am getting tired of this crap. I know we're supposed to show nothing but love, but if I see one of those, I'll rip it off the car. If I see a pin like that on clothing, I'll rip it off. And if we have to fight over it then so be it. I'll pray for them after the beating. I'm sick and tired of seeing my faith stomped on. It doesn't happen to Muslims. You know why? Because they don't put up with it. They take to the streets, and will throw a rock thru your window. And some things that are a little worse I'm sure. I don't want to hurt anyone, I don't want to offend anyone, but I wouldn't let anyone talk about my earthly father the way people talk about my heavenly father and my savior. I think it about time Christians as a whole got out of politics, took to the streets, and threw a few rocks thru some windows. Just a few thoughts

One, some muslims do, others don´t. And if you feel uncomfortable with Christianity and the other cheeck, convert to Islam, but don´t complain if in 20 years they are like you or worse. And just for the record, if God doesn´t send brim and stone any longer, and sends instead a son who says love thy enemy, it may be for something. Or do you think you´re over God?, OH NO, THAT´S BLASPHEMY.
Just try it, asshole. When I was still a christian I had a rainbow icthus pin that I wore on my backpack at campus. If anyone had tried that they would have had a mouthful of fist.
Theres a reason a lot of people view islam as a barbarian religion, and it seems like this guy wants christianity to go down the same road.
In a way, I wish fundies would do something like this. They'd antagonize people and soon find out what a small minority they really are. We'd finally see the end of the "religious right" as politically relevant, and we'd get their noses out of our schools and laws.
I have seen hundreds of non-Muslim people wearing crescent-moon pins and brooches, even in church. I've even worn one myself. Nobody had a problem with it -- including Muslims, as far as I know.
Just as a cigar sometimes is just a cigar, symbols CAN mean more than one thing and still be perfectly functional in representing each.

"I think it about time Christians as a whole got out of politics, took to the streets, and threw a few rocks thru some windows. Just a few thoughts"
A very few thoughts, since you would then be acting more like muslim terrorists than you do now.
standard monkey politics.
"My tribe yay, your tribe boo"
But you and yours are DIVINE creations, and you ain't got anything in common with any filthy monkey, right?
"I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am getting tired of this crap."
If you mean idiot Fundies babbling on about things they don't understand, then, YES, I'm getting tired of that crap, too.
"I know we're supposed to show nothing but love, but if I see one of those, I'll rip it off the car."
So, you're all for that peace and love sort of thing unless someone displays a view you don't like. Peace, love, vandalism and theft, but all for God.
"If I see a pin like that on clothing, I'll rip it off. And if we have to fight over it then so be it."
I wish I had such a pin so that I could wear it in front of you. After you ripped it off me, we could "discuss it" for a while.
"I'll pray for them after the beating."
You mean, after you come to, you will try to pray for me through your wired together jaws.
"I'm sick and tired of seeing my faith stomped on."
Oh, boohoo. Every other religion in the country is more dumped on than Christianity. Those of us without a religion are the most "stomped on" of all.
"It doesn't happen to Muslims. You know why? Because they don't put up with it. They take to the streets, and will throw a rock thru your window."
How unlike Krystalnacht and attacks on abortion clinics and doctors.
"And some things that are a little worse I'm sure. I don't want to hurt anyone, I don't want to offend anyone,"
You just finished saying you wanted to steal from me, damage my clothing and give me a beating. Don't you think those things might offend and/or hurt me?
"but I wouldn't let anyone talk about my earthly father the way people talk about my heavenly father and my savior."
Your heavenly father and Jesus are imaginary beings, they are fictions, fantasies, they are not real.
"I think it about time Christians as a whole got out of politics, took to the streets, and threw a few rocks thru some windows."
I agree, Christians should get out of politics, and as long as they are your windows, go ahead and throw your rocks.
"Just a few thoughts"
Indeed. Just a few puny, stupid thoughts.
This wouldn't, by chance, happened to be the "persecuted" Christian that backed over the shopping carts, would it?
I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am getting tired of this crap. I know we're supposed to show nothing but love, but if I see one of those, I'll rip it off the car.
Resorting to hateful vandalism, how Christian of you.
If I see a pin like that on clothing, I'll rip it off.
Unconsentual physical contact is harassment or assualt, depending on the exact circumstances.
And if we have to fight over it then so be it. I'll pray for them after the beating.
How about praying for yourself? After you go to jail that is.
I'm sick and tired of seeing my faith stomped on.
Sexual orientation has nothing to do with religion. Unless of course if people use their religion to take issues with other people's way of life.
It doesn't happen to Muslims. You know why? Because they don't put up with it. They take to the streets, and will throw a rock thru your window. And some things that are a little worse I'm sure.
Like Christians, the way some Muslims feel about other people's sexual orientation varies from person to person.
I don't want to hurt anyone, I don't want to offend anyone,
Yet, you have already said that you would resort to vandalism and violence...
but I wouldn't let anyone talk about my earthly father the way people talk about my heavenly father and my savior.
I don't see homosexual people going out of their way to bad mouth any specific god, let alone the Christian one. All I see is homosexual people asking for equal rights in regards to marriage and the such.
I think it about time Christians as a whole got out of politics, took to the streets, and threw a few rocks thru some windows. Just a few thoughts
I agree with the Christian's getting out of politics parts, but smashing windows will only land you in trouble with the law and not advance your concerns on issue, or gain you any respect. If you act like an immature child throwing a tantrum, that is how people will treat you.
Edit: I responded to this before reading the comments and realizing that Papabear beat me to the breakdown. Papabear's better at it anyway.
It doesn't happen to Muslims. People don't get assaulted because they are Muslims (or perceived to be Muslims)? Yeah, right, if only.
Ya know, I actually AM a conservative. Unfortunately for me, I'm also pro-choice, pro-science, and atheist.
I normally vote straight Republican, on the off chance that they'll be better at the economy and defense than the Democrats.
But I gotta say, these frickin' fundies make me want to simply enjoy Election Day with a hangover and a loooong day in bed.
I don't hate gays, nor blacks, nor really anyone. All I want is to keep more of my own money, not be scammed by a Social Security Ponzi scheme, not have my family blown to Hell by some Islamofascist, and keep my damned guns that I paid good money for.
Like the rest of you, I really wish that, to paraphrase Ron White, "when a fundie has a thought...he should just let it go."

Christians throw rocks through windows all the time. Usualy windows of stores and resturants that hire gay workers.
Interestingly there is a resturant owned by a muslim couple. They have incredible traditional palestinian pastry. And a hot lesbian waitress who regularly cleans up the broken glass when christians smash the front windows.
So, where's this place again?
I think his final statement is remarkably well-founded. Get fundamentalists out of politics, and into jail cells, where they can, er, "discuss" these things with each other. Probably over a dropped bar of soap.
"Getting out of politics" is a great idea for christians.
As for the rest of it, I feel the same way when some asshole, fundy jackass slathers their bumper with "jebus is my co-pilot" or some other shit.
It's freedom of speech, bitch. If we have to listen to your endless chirping about god and jesus, then sit back, shut up and let someone else have an opinion that differs from your own.
Poor, poor, poor, poor, poor christians. Tsk, tsk, tsk. If seeing a sticker is going to threaten your belief, then maybe your belief isn't that strong to begin with.
Uh-huh...and when you're in jail for assault, I trust you will pray for your cellmate when you become a good little prison bride. I'm sorry honey, but "My faith was being mocked" doesn't fly in court.
I don't want to hurt anyone,
Right.
but I wouldn't let anyone talk about my earthly father the way people talk about my heavenly father and my savior.
Your earthly father has a distinct advantage over your heavenly father. He's real.
"I think it about time Christians as a whole got out of politics, took to the streets, and threw a few rocks thru some windows. Just a few thoughts"
Here's a thought for you:
Romans 13:8-10: 'Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.'
See you in Hell, budgolf.
taking a symbol with such a strong connection to Christians is kinda a dick move.
Not that I suggest violence to rectify it, but it'd be like the Christians taking the triple moon or triquetra and using them to represent the trinity or something.
Oh it's okay then, because you're going to pray for them after you beat them up.
Maybe you're the one's that going to get fucked up instead. Ever stop to think of that?
Try to imagine how sick and tired gay people are of you dolts saying you "love" them, but then attacking them, discriminating against them, killing them...
It doesn't happen to Muslim? What color is the sky in your world? Muslims are seen as Enemy No 1 in many western countries, mosques are burned down, women with headscarves are being attacked every day, it was even illegal for a time in France to have too much clothes on at the beach...
You don't want to hurt anyone, but you're going to pray for them after the beating?
Take to the street? You mean like this?

Those are "Swedish Resistance Movement", an ultra-right-wing Nazi group. The picture is from Dec 2013, when they attacked a peaceful anti-racism demonstration, with families; children in prams and on their parent's shoulders.
Courageous guys, indeed...
"if I see one of those, I'll rip it off the car."
And if I had a car, I'd get one of those Darwin Fish, then attach it to the back of the car.
But not just a stick-on one or with magnets. Oh no. I'd have it not only bolted but welded to the car.
It would be so much fun watching bud here trying to remove that. And you know that your average Raptard is nothing but a persistent little bugger (otherwise the penny would've dropped way before now; especially after May/October 2011), thus he'd probably go off to return with some tools - either from home or a nearby hardware shop, which he'd wasted good money on, just for this sole purpose - and start attacking away.
I would calmly watch the proceedings; recording away on my smartphone for insurance purposes, evidence for the prosecutor, and later Schadenfreude lulz as beforehand I would've phoned the police reporting a crime in progress.
Resist arrest, bud. Please . >:D
