This is what I have been taught growing up.

Hell is a fiery pit of despair where Lucifer beats you with a whip of fire and pokes your butt with a fiery trident in a boiling pot. Has anyone been raised differently? Is my perception of The Devil off? The Devil had dominion over Hell and punishes those who are sent there.

Why would The Devil punish people? Wouldn't he want to shake hands with every person that came to him? Wouldn't he say "well done," to those who went against the man upstairs? Wouldn't he want everyone that "followed" him to be rewarded?

By followers I mean homos, the mentally handicapped, fat people, people who smoke KOOLS, women in stretch pants and Snoopy T-shirts, gamblers, drunks, video game players, Harry Potter fans, rap musicians, grad students, politicians, telemarketers, news casters, dead beat dads, ginger kids, lawyers, and janitors.

Besides, if it is an eternity in hell...wouldn't you get used to it after a day or two? I mean if you knew you were going to be burned 24 hours a day 7 days a week and even Christmas, wouldn't you get over it when the novelty wore off?
