many people say that we should grant marriage rights to gay people, God made Marriage for a man and a woman (genesis 2:24) and many people are saying that gays can be christians! Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 say that it is detestable and that they must be put to death. gay people cant be christians, gay people are people living in sin and they should be treated as such, now i'm not saying we should hate gay people and go around harassing them or hurting them, we should hate the sin but love the sinner (in a non-gay way).

Like I said in the other thread. Any young gay person in a Christian family should be afraid for their life. Many Christians believe gays should be put to death today. This is no joke. I work as a therapist and I work with many young gay people from Christian homes, many of them are homeless. The stories they tell about their family experience is terrifying to say the least.
Accoring to Leviticus wearing clothing of mixed fabrics is an abomination and those who do so are guilty of fashion abomination and should be put to death in the tackiest possible manner. Strangled with a pink and purple polyester and dacron tie for example, this should take care of most fundies. I have only the kindest intentions and love the sinner, but not the wardrobe.
People living in "sin" doesn't mean, and in the Bible is clear:
a)that they're not Christian(otherwise, why demanding them to follow their rules?).
b)that they should be denied legal rights.
c)that they have no right to marry(people marry in jails, after lying, after making images of God..........).
And the part about the hate of the sin is utterly illogical.
Dear Kyle,
This statement:
Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 say that it is detestable and that they must be put to death.
and this statement:
gay people cant be christians, gay people are people living in sin and they should be treated as such, now i'm not saying we should hate gay people and go around harassing them or hurting them, we should hate the sin but love the sinner (in a non-gay way)
...contradict each other. Can you guess why?
Hint: It's "I'm not saying we should hate gays or harm them, but I do think we should kill them."
Sincerely,
Tempus
Thou shalt not kill...unless it's two guys getting it on. Then by all means, go nuts.
Who wants to guess why I refuse to buy into the Christian Dogma?
I love how he feels the need to clarify 'in a non-gay way'.
You may want to re-examine yourself thar, Kyle.
Kyle hypocritically quotes Lev. while not obeying all of it. Because of this, he should be held up to all the laws of the book and be stoned to death if he disobeys. Now I'm not saying we should hate Kyle, hate the sin love the sinner. If he disobeys he'll have blocks of love hurled at him so he can bleed righteousness and glory.

Prove God exists. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Of course you're not. They just need to die for Jeezus. No hate here.
gay people cant be christians
Just like people who eat shellfish and shrimp, shave their beards, or wear polyester can't be Christians either.
Are ye a true Scotsman, laddie?
we should hate the sin but love the sinner (in a non-gay way).
He seems awfully afraid we'd read too much into that statement.
"Have I mentioned I am heterosexual today?"
Keep in mind that the book you're quoting is from the Old Testament. If Homosexuality was such a big deal, you'd think it'd be mentioned in the New Testament, preferably by Jesus. He never said anything on that topic.
Confused?
