This makes no sense. Either this man seems to be a big believer in rule by intimidation and force, or he believes in the conspiracy theory that all acts of violence against women serve to further the goal of feminism, so feminists work towards increased violence to women
Actually, if you do this in real life, you will have committed something called a war crime. You get seriously castigated for things like this, and I would not suggest it, supposed "rules of war" be damned. The rules of war do not take precedence over the laws of war.
Really? I was in the US Army from the age of 18 to 29. Things happen in war, I know. And there are more then a few rapes during wartime.
But you get caught doing this shit, asshole, you get to visit the lovely Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Levenworth, Kansas. Don't believe me? My best guess; it's snark, directed at people who think the IDF commits war crimes. He's pointing out that, if they were real war criminals, they would be raping Palestinian women; since they are not, he's taking the ironic position of someone accusing the IDF of being war criminals for NOT raping women. As in: the IDF do not rape women, the IDF are war criminals, therefore NOT raping women must be a war crime.

This might make me controversial, but the only rule of warfare is to win. I'm not saying it's right, I'm saying that's how it is. There's a reason Andrew Jackson is still on American currency (though given his views on banks, I guess that would be a fitting punishment) despite what he did to the Native Americans.
That said, in the modern era, when humanity at large is a little more conscious of people who are willing to win at all costs, it helps to either hold back on the civilian casualties or have the United Nations on your side.
First, if this is a poe, it sucks. Second, if it's legitimate, it sucks. Each for the same reason: even if rape wasn't immoral, there is no practical reason to do so in wartime. If your men have time to commit countless acts of debauchery, they have time to train or patrol or do anything more useful than rape. And don't give me that "it's useful intimidation" bullshit. Routing an army in 5 minutes is useful intimidation. Rape just inspires people to fight harder, because they'd rather lose their lives than surrender to you.
In short: rape has never been a "rule of war". If an army went about raping, it was dumb of them to do so.

Unfortunately people get away with it, and other crimes against humanity more often than not. And what happens if you are a Melosevich or Noriega, and do get put on trial eventually? You get to pay for your crimes by living out the rest of your life in a fancy resort that's better than what the people you victimized, or even what many of the citizens of the nations who have to foot the bill have.

Any kind of "rules of war" people have invented or implemented is to make war less chaotic, reduce anarchy and barbarity, and usually lessen damage to civilians.
how is it some people become adults (in age) yet miss out learning how basic human society is constructed?
