The last time I heard the word "bastard" used in any legal sense was about thirty years ago. The last time I used the word "bastard" was yesterday with regards to a cabby who almost ran me down, and I'm pretty sure that's how most modern people use that word.

1) I don't see why the circumstances of a birth influe on the morality of a person.
2) Your plan inflict to the child a "punishment" for an act commited by the morher, who herself would be punished for acts not harming anyone.

As a proud bastard (in the archaic sense), I say: I'm happy to embrace evil, to reject salvation and become the very monster the world thinks I am, if only because the good side thinks like this.
