(Regarding Brad Pitt's comment about being 20% atheist and 80% agnostic)
"One more time:
Well I thought about it, I’m an atheist and agnostic when it comes to you Brad Pitt, BECAUSE I DON’T BELIEVE AND DEFINITELY DOUBT I WILL EVER SEE ONE OF YOUR MOVIES AGAIN.
My final say for the moment: Your last name Pitt seems to be appropriate because you are going to one. The “Pits of Hell” if you don’t change your ways. God have mercy on your soul."

His personal beliefs are none of your bussines, Dee.
[sarcasm]But, hey, better agnostic/atheist than scientologist, right? [/sarcasm]
p.s. Like he cares about one less ticket...
Spelling, learn some, please.
You are of course free to see which-ever films you want, for whatever reason you want.
Last time I checked Brad was not a god, so atheism on your part does not compute. Agnosticism might, as you can doubt his greatness or his existence. Some god surely seems to be smiling on him...
I'm sure that Brad Pitt cares what you think. I'm sure he's crushed that you'll never see one of his movies again. I guess he'll just have to go and comfort himself with his good looks, hot wife, and millions of dollars.
I'm an agnostic atheist as well, and I certainly wouldn't care if you never saw any of my movies again. Maybe because I'm never going to be in any, but still.
Besides, I'm sure he's not that broken up over one idiot who won't see his movies because of something that has no bearing at all on his acting. I doubt he'll notice the impact when counting his bajillions of dollars.

Feel the gloating. And the last sentence is reminiscent of a judge donning the black cap! Another KKK lynching, eh? Let's get there early to enjoy it!
That's fair, after all I'll never watch another Kirk Cameron movie again. (If he even made any)
Oh wait, that's not because of his religious beliefs, it's because he's a no-talent putz who can't act his way out of a garbage can.
"DEFINITELY DOUBT I WILL EVER SEE ONE OF YOUR MOVIES AGAIN"
One more seat for we Atheist cinemagoers. Your loss, Dee. Does he or the distributors of the films he stars in care? Your ticket pays for a sandwich or two & a drink from the caterer's van on the set he was being filmed on. No major loss to the production budget, nor the distributors' profits.
"The “Pits of Hell” if you don’t change your ways. God have mercy on your soul."
Oh yeah. He's suffering, all right. As are the beneficiaries of the charities he supports, promotes & fundraises for. He suffers whenever he's in bed with his wife Angelina Jolie (lucky bugger!). And he's definitely suffering when he's got the attention of the world's press whenever he's at a film premier/awards ceremony. The "Pits of Hell" without a doubt.
Enjoy your irrelevance and 'nobody' status, Dee.
I think that we're in the middle of a turning point for atheism in this country when celebrities can openly state their nonbelief without serious repercussions. I think that religion is finally losing its stranglehold on the U.S.
And yes, I want to go see "Inglorious Basterds" as well. Not necessarily because Brad Pitt is in it, but because it looks like a damn good movie.
what part of fight club made you think for a second that there was anything "good moral christian" about his films in the first place?
but yeah, it's weird. I saw spy games the other day and wondered to myself, what the hell is it about brad pitt that's so damn cool. I don't know anyone who doesn't like him.
and then he goes and does this? what the hell man, aren't you supposed to be scientologist by now? it makes no sense...
FEAR THE SCREECHING FUNDIE OF DOOOOOM!
Good lord. I imagine your condemnations wound him greatly, Dee. Truly. he must be crushed and inconsolable right now.
Yes, flail and cry, fundies. Your reign of terror is coming to an end, and we, the Others, the pagans and unbelievers, the ones who profess to be Christians and have none of your wild-eyed fanaticism, will be free at last!
(Was that too "THIS IS SPARTA!"?)

They know their time is nearly over, as our star is in the ascendant (Lance Armstrong, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt, natch), and they are hanging on by their last fingernail - just as their Blood God is similarly hanging from the platform of Human Relevance that he used to be at the centre of, but was gradually pushed away from as the growth of human knowledge via science (& the development of such) inexorably forced him to that edge; he'll ultimately fall, to join the other mythological deities of yore, in the Abyss of Human Irrelevance. Not many gaps left eh, fundies? Three Letters: L.H.C.
What we're seeing today is their last gasp (mainly of denial) that their days (of dogmatic religious tyranny) are numbered, and the Age of Humankind - of Reason, Intelligence and Logic - will begin.
