Pedos are being pushed away more and more from the "OK" group, you silly bint. Sure, there is a growing empathy for people who struggle with (and don't act on) desires for children, but the judgment on the ones who molest children, or produce and own child-porn, is also growing.
Personally, I think age of consent should be increased to 18 (or whatever the age of accountability is in each country). Sex might lead to children, and rearing children is HARD work; you need to have quite a bit of maturity to manage it well. Kids playing with kids of their own age should probably not be prosecuted, but adults who diddle children should be harshly punished.
Age 12 DEFINITELY doesn't make sense, either biologically, mentally or socially. Kids that young are indeed stupid and can't make informed decisions. You do know that 12-year-olds are not teenagers, right? Or are you as dumb as they are?
WHAT BIOLOGICAL SENSE DOES IT MAKE FOR CHILDREN THAT ARE NOT EVEN THROUGH PUBERTY TO HAVE SEX!!! Puberty usually doesn't end until about 16, and mental maturity continues to about 25, at least. Kids of 12 or 13 who get pregnant often die in childbirth, as they are, ya know, CHILDREN THEMSELVES, and their pelvises aren't wide enough to give birth properly.
Did YOU have sex at 12, firelucid? I know I didn't, I was about 18 when I started, and it definitely didn't feel like I started later than everyone else; it was a pretty average age where I lived.
