['Am I the only one who thinks the quotes (on Liberals Say the Darndest Things) are completely lame? They should be self-evidently funny, but most of them have Republican_Legion's commentary behind them to literally explain the humor behind them. Its not a funny joke if you have to explain the punchline.)

Most of what they [FSTDT.com] post isn't "self-evidently funny". It's not even "self-evidently" "darned". It's just stuff that they don't agree with. In fact, I dare say that they have extremely low standards for what they consider "darnedest" comments. Most of what they lampoon are things that would seem rational & sane to NORMAL people.
