If there is a big EQ or "megaquake" in the Wellington region within 15 years it will likely be man-made just like the Christchurch one. Think of all the new buildings that will be built as a result, it will be an investors dream! It will put the govt in so much debt they would have no choice but to sell NZ to the highest (foreign) bidder (sound familiar anyone?).
They (geologists) didn't know Christchurch was on a faultline because there never was a faultline there. The Christchurch earthquake was man-made by a techtonic weapon by the US and/or China (take your pick). The people of Christchurch deserve to know the truth. If you don't believe me look up John Key says Christchurch Earthquake was man-made and HAARP Christchurch Earthquake.

Girls at an Islamic school in Australia have been banned from running at sporting events because the principal believes it may cause them to lose their virginity, former teachers claim.

The schools regulator, the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority, is investigating the allegations about Melbourne's Al Taqwa College , which have been referred to the state and federal education ministers.

It follows revelations last month that the principal, Omar Hallak, told students that Islamic State was a plot by Western countries.

In a letter sent to the education ministers this week, a former teacher said female students were being discriminated against at the school.

"The principal holds beliefs that if females run excessively, they may 'lose their virginity'," the letter said.

"The principal believes that there is scientific evidence to indicate that if girls injure themselves, such as break their leg while playing soccer, it could render them infertile."

Islamic Creationists #fundie stuff.co.nz

PARIS: France's Education Ministry has warned schools around the country against Islamic creationism theories after several thousand copies of an anti-Darwinist book from Turkey were mailed to them, an official said.

The lavishly illustrated Atlas of Creation by Harun Yahya, a shadowy figure who runs a large Islamic publishing operation from Istanbul, was sent to schools and universities over the past 10 days in a move that has baffled authorities, she said.

The Turkish original of the 768-page book, which rejects evolution, first appeared in Turkey late last year when it was also sent unsolicited to schools.

It sees Charles Darwin's theory of the "survival of the fittest" as the root of many of today's ills, including modern terrorism.
