The hundreds of thousands of Americans who rallied for Trump on January 6th disrupted the carefully laid plans of the Trump-haters. America has a rich history of disrespectful, raucous protests dating back to the Boston Tea Party.

It is the mockery of the sanctimonious officials which incurred their wrath against the mostly peaceful, even fun-seeking, protesters. Nobody likes to be ridiculed, and the self-centered political elite in D.C. dislike it most of all.

…The protestors gave us powerful images that should become a rallying cry against the imperial Congress. The image of a jovial man playfully lifting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s podium is a priceless symbol of how Americans feel about the D.C. elite, as is the picture of a peaceful commoner from Idaho sitting in the feckless Vice President Mike Pence’s chair.

["Andy Schlafly, would you do me the honor of explaining why the Bible is the most logical book written?"]

God created the world, and then man. Man incurred the ultimate offense against God, and that required the ultimate sacrifice to redeem it. God intervenes with miracles from time to time as He likes. This is completely logical. Now everyone has free will to reject this and conjure up any alternative theory they like, but Christianity is the most logical religion and the Bible is the most logical book.

As an example of the illogical view of atheists, they deny the existence of Hell. If anything is logical, it is justice, and Hell is essential to that.

Karajou: It's already proven in all walks of life that liberals are either liars or lunatics, so any percentage of liberalism in the project just isn't going to happen.

["That's exactly my point. Neutral means 0% of BOTH liberalism and conservatism....There's a very "us vs. them" mentality on this site that disturbs me greatly."]

Andy Schlafly: I doubt that "disturbs [you] greatly." More likely you don't like it when someone points out liberal deceit. That disturbs many liberals greatly.

(A discussion about "Hollywood Values")

Andy: I've never seen a movie "demonize" drug use. Every movie I've seen that has drug use portrays it as something "cool" people do. As to your support of decriminalizing drugs, well ... that serves to prove my point. A big fan of Hollywood types yourself?

BenHur: *Huge list of movies where drugs ruin lives, cause people to die, and are generally portrayed as bad*

Andy: Liberals think they can fool people by citing unusual examples to deny a correlation. It's indisputable that Hollywood values are highly correlated with drug use, and that movie portrayals of drug use range from something that cool people do to something that is funny. Can anyone think of a movie that presented a sympathetic figure who was then senselessly murdered or seriously harmed by someone hooked on drugs? I can't. Hollywood is in denial about the harm caused by drugs, often to innocent third parties.

Joaquin, "Allahu" has to mean "Allah", not God. The Muslim chant, which is what this is from, is to Allah, not God.

["Andy, the word "Allahu" means in Arab "God". It comes from: Al-lâh. "Al" means "the" and "ilah" means "god""]

Joaquin, I have an open mind about this, but Muslims chant to "Allahu" and they're not chanting to "God", but to "Allah".

Public schools did fine before there was atheistic exclusion of Christianity from them. Public schools have far more money now than before, and yet have far lower quality now.

["Andy that's not a valid argument; it's a correlation-causation fallacy. Again, if Christianity is the root of success in public schools - why is Japan at the top of the list, where a hugely significant majority of the population defines themselves as non-religious?"]

Correlation is often due to causation, and the exclusion of Christianity was clearly a cause of the subsequent decline in values, motivation, safety, and achievement of public schools. It is equally clear that many atheists are the driving force in expelling all things Christian from public schools to this day.

[re: naming it Conservative Bible Project or Conservapedia Bible Project]

But I feel that "conservative" is an important term to continue to use in connection with this project. It indicates that we're not going to be fooled by, or allow, liberal distortions of the Bible.

Liberal politics is having too negative an effect on Christianity. Our "conservative" Bible project is one important way to negate the liberal distortions. Look at how much liberals have complained about it. That's a good sign.

In Christ,

Essay:Best Conservapedia insights about the Bible

On Conservapedia a growing list of insights about the Bible has been produced:

1. The Bible is 100% logical, without a single logical flaw in it. No other book comes close.
2. The Bible contains an immense amount of scientific foreknowledge.
3. The water did not turn into wine at the wedding at Cana until it was tasted, consistent with quantum mechanics. Precise versions of the Bible translate this sequence correctly: "When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine."[1]
4. The "Son of Man" is a mistranslation: it should be "The Son, a man," as Jesus artfully implied that he was the Son of God during the early part of his ministry without committing the capital offense of blasphemy until his ministry was complete.
5. The perfectly written Epistle to the Hebrews is probably the "sermon" or monologue given by Jesus after the Resurrection when he met two travelers on the Road to Emmaus, as described in Luke 24:13-35.[2]
6. Paul warned against being misled by liberal claptrap and the passage at 1 Corinthians 1:17 should be translated that way.
7. Liberals are overly insistent on certain anti-Bible theories merely a way of pulling people, particularly students, away from the Bible.
8. The adulteress story is a phony insertion by liberals who quote it more than any other passage -- virtually all scholars confirm its lack of authenticity.
9. In the Calming of the Storm, a precise translation indicates that it was the observation or judging of the storm by Jesus, consistent with quantum mechanics, without any spoken words.
10. The greatest distortion of the Bible by modern liberal translations is their denial of Hell, even though Jesus talked more about Hell than about Heaven.
11. Genesis 1:2, properly translated, explains that God created order out of chaos, exactly as modern quantum mechanics describes with respect to an underlying uncertainty.
12. The many insights into physics (especially quantum mechanics and the Second Law of Thermodynamics) and mathematics (especially set theory) of the Bible, often overlooked or even lost in translation due to the dominance of a literary focus of biblical scholars rather than a scientific or logical one.
13. The immense value of utilizing, in translating the Bible, modern new conservative terms that have originated since the King James Version, since Strong's, and even since 1900 and 2000. Examples include "demonic", "gambling", and "liberal claptrap."

Andy Schlafly #fundie conservapedia.com

The Theory of Relativity cannot be reconciled with the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Search and both and the lack of reconciliation is striking. The Book of Genesis describes a fundamental underlying uncertainty; the Theory of Relativity denies it.

Infinity and zero are two intertwined opposites that can be played off each other logically in ways that seem paradoxical at first. They are related in that infinity can never be diminished or increased by more than zero, while zero is the result of making something infinitely small.

The Parable of the Vineyard Workers is perfectly logical but initially seems paradoxical. The master has infinite resources, and pays the workers the same wage no matter how much or little they work. This enrages the workers who toil longer, even though they were fully paid, because there is zero difference between their wages and that of workers who toiled little. Yet there is nothing for any of the workers to be angry about.

Neither infinity nor zero were accepted by thinkers at the time of Christ, and the parables did much to explain the logic of these two intertwined opposites. Shakespeare frequently used infinity in his plays.

The Bible is a superb roadmap to future scientific discoveries. Unfortunately, Bible deniers, including many atheists and evolutionists, refuse to read the Bible, and their irrational closed-mindedness against the Bible obstructs the advancement of science. [Emphasis original]

Andy Schlafly #fundie conservapedia.com

As of 2009, there was no fully conservative translation of the Bible which satisfies the following ten guidelines:[4]

Framework against Liberal Bias: providing a strong framework that enables a thought-for-thought translation without corruption by liberal bias. For example, the Living Bible translation has liberal evolutionary bias;[5] the widely used NIV translation has a pro-abortion bias.[6]
Not Emasculated: avoiding unisex, "gender inclusive" language, and other feminist distortions; preserve many references to the unborn child (the NIV deletes these)
Not Dumbed Down: not dumbing down the reading level, or diluting the intellectual force and logic of Christianity;[7] the NIV is written at only the 7th grade level[8]
Utilize Terms which better capture original intent: using powerful new conservative terms to capture better the original intent;[9] Defective translations use the word "comrade" three times as often as "volunteer"; similarly, updating words that have a change in meaning, such as "word", "peace", and "miracle".
Combat Harmful Addiction: combating addiction[10] by using modern terms for it, such as "gamble" rather than "cast lots";[11] using modern political terms, such as "register" rather than "enroll" for the census
Accept the Logic of Hell: applying logic with its full force and effect, as in not denying or downplaying the very real existence of Hell or the Devil.
Express Free Market Parables; explaining the numerous economic parables with their full free-market meaning
Exclude Later-Inserted Inauthentic Passages: excluding the interpolated passages that liberals commonly put their own spin on, such as the adulteress story
Credit Open-Mindedness of Disciples: crediting open-mindedness, often found in youngsters like the eyewitnesses Mark and John, the authors of two of the Gospels
Prefer Conciseness over Liberal Wordiness: preferring conciseness to the liberal style of high word-to-substance ratio; avoid compound negatives and unnecessary ambiguities.
Thus, a project began among editors at Conservapedia to translate the Bible in accordance with these principles. The translated Bible can be found here.

Benefits include:

mastery of the Bible, which is priceless
mastery of the English language, which is valuable
thorough understanding of the differences in Bible translations, particularly the historically important King James Version
benefiting from activity that no public school would ever allow; a Conservative Bible could become a text for public school courses
political issues can become a pathway to evangelizing liberals
liberals will oppose this effort, but they will have to read the Bible to criticize this, and that will open their minds
this project has a unifying effect on various Christian denominations, and serves as an important counterweight to liberal efforts to divide conservative candidates based on religion

Shakespeare and abortion

William Shakespeare's masterpiece play Hamlet contains implied references to an attempted abortion by taking abortifacients and the subsequently tragic fate of both the mother (Ophelia) and father (Hamlet). Multiple lines in the play are unmistakable in suggesting this,[1] yet liberals never mention this while teaching about Hamlet in public school.

Shakespeare's portrayal of the wealthy, privileged Ophelia and Hamlet as borderline crazy and suicidal may reflect his disapproval of abortion, and his belief that fate is not kind to those who embrace unapologetically that path and outlook. Shakespeare himself was a devout Christian.

Feminists generally identify with Ophelia as being a victim of men, and if she attempted an abortion then that would be lockstep with feminist ideology. But the unnecessarily tragic outcome awaiting Ophelia after making her immoral choices is something feminists tend to be in denial about.

[Replying to an article which claims the story where Jesus says, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" is a forgery and shouldn't be in the Bible]

Thanks for your superb analysis, Michael, from which I learned immensely.

For the record, the ideological objection is not to how liberals "twist" this passage, but how the passage itself is written in such a liberal way that it renders its authenticity doubtful. It would be akin to discovering a passage that said something like this: "Jesus then said that government should take from the rich and give to the poor." Historical analysis can prove that to be non-authentic; political analysis can reach the same conclusion more efficiently and with a high degree of certitude.

Jesus did not forgive without repentance, yet the Adulteress Story claims He did. Jesus did not comment on capital punishment, yet the Adulteress Story claims He did. Jesus was not permissive about adultery, yet the Adulteress Story He was. Older people are not always wiser than younger ones, yet the Adulteress Story claims they are. And so on

Negative numbers were not fully accepted by mathematicians until the 1800s, including how a negative number dominates the result in multiplication with a positive number, to yield a negative outcome. Yet Jesus's parable of the sower and the seed, in Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-8, and Luke 8:4-8, explained the same effect nearly 2000 years earlier.

Recall that the language of Mesopotamia was cuneiform, based on wedge-like characters. Can you imagine such primitive writing conveying the concept of "Holy Spirit" or "sin" or "redemption" or "faith"? It was an inadequate language, far too primitive for the needs of the powerful concepts of Christianity.

Greatest logical minds proof

1. The greatest modern thinkers, including Isaac Newton, Louis Pasteur, Bernhard Riemann, Alexander Hamilton, John von Neumann, and Kurt Godel, were devoted to the Bible.
2. These thinkers would not be attracted to anything that had a logical flaw.
3. The Bible must therefore be more logical than the alternative.
4. What is more logical is more likely to be true.
5. Thus God is more likely to exist than the alternative.

E=mc2 is a meaningless statement in physics that purports to relate light to matter. In fact, no theory has successfully unified the laws governing mass (i.e., gravity) with the laws governing light (i.e., electromagnetism). Simply put, E=mc2 is liberal claptrap.

Biblical Scientific Foreknowledge predicts that a unified theory of all the laws of physics are impossible, because light and matter were created at different times, in different ways, as described in the Book of Genesis.

A logical fallacy is an error in logical reasoning. While the common usage of the word fallacy would include any error in reasoning, in logic a fallacy is defined as a particularly deceptive argument which seems correct, but upon further examination is found to be incorrect.[1] The maker of such an argument, however, need not be aware of its fallacious nature.

[...]

Logical fallacies are the beloved debating tactic of liberals; for this reason, it is not advised to debate them unless you have to, as you will only end up frustrated when one of them inevitably claims global warming is true because Al Gore said so.

In the story a mob surrounds a woman to stone her for adultery, and ask Jesus what they should do. Jesus is describing as writing in the ground, and eventually beseeches those who have not sinned to cast the first stone. The crowd then disperses, beginning with the eldest first. This apocryphal passage is a favorite of liberals who oppose those who stand up for Christian values, as when the left-leaning Bill O'Reilly cited this passage to criticize the star of Duck Dynasty for standing up against homosexual conduct.

Obviously many people refuse to read the Bible and thus miss out on the benefit of its foreknowledge. Right. I don't even think early Christians called themselves "Christian". Most church names (e.g., "Church of Christ") don't use that term either. It's a diluted term preferred more by atheists.

Ditto for the secularization of the term "flood", which is obviously reminiscent of the Great Flood. "Flood-waters" is a particularly silly secularization - does anyone think it might be anything other than water in natural disasters?

"Atheistic science" is descriptive term for science that clings to materialistic explanations at the complete exclusion of biblical insights and phenomena not explainable by materialism. There may be Christians who pursue atheistic science as a way of getting a degree or putting food on the table.

The circular statement that "if there is a 6.0 earthquake in Napa, then it is on an active fault line" is not illuminating. A good theory, which goes beyond atheistic science, is needed to predict and explain earthquakes better.

Andy Schlafly #fundie conservapedia.com

It only takes one counterexample (to disprove evolution). Number one in the list -- beautiful autumn foliage -- is enough. The foliage existed before man does, and beauty does not help the trees in the slightest. The theory of evolution is confounded by the beauty, and the best it can say is it happened by chance. But such beauty does not happen by chance

Andy Schlafly #fundie conservapedia.com

Atheistic science is an approach to science that clings to atheistic views of the universe and life, at the complete exclusion of Biblical scientific foreknowledge and non-materialistic phenomena. The hallmark of atheistic science is how it clings to materialistic theories and rejects logic and experimental observations that contradict the atheistic theories.

Examples of absurd beliefs of atheistic scientists:

* that remarkable migration by butterflies and birds can somehow be explained by magnetism
* that there are many "multiple universes" that simultaneously exist
* that time travel can occur through wormholes in the universe
* that intelligent extraterrestrial life exists outside of Earth
* that massive "black holes" exist in tiny spaces, from which not even light can escape
* that unseen "dark matter" permeates the universe
* that the universe is really comprised elastic strings

Maquissar, it's not that complicated. The percentage of excellent athletes who are in traditional relationships or marriages is very high. The percentage of those misled by the homosexual agenda who then break athletic records is very low. Essay: Quantifying Vulnerability to Atheism

We quantify intelligence, health, athletic skills and even musical talent. But more important than those, especially for teenagers, is the vulnerability to atheism. A simply test can quantify one's vulnerability to atheism:

1. Do you frame arguments in terms of what is best for you, as opposed to others?
2. Do you spend more time thinking about yourself than volunteering for others?
3. Do you deny equal time to the Bible?
4. Do you oppose allowing classroom prayer even when everyone in the classroom wants to pray together?
5. Do you think atheists have achieved more intellectually than non-atheists?
(add more)

If your score (or the score of a loved one) is "yes" on more than half of the questions, then you (or a loved one) is highly vulnerable to atheism. Beware of the depression and anxiety that typically follows.

Andy Schlafly #fundie conservapedia.com

But FDR privately wanted the United States to enter into World War II to protect Britain against Germany. Britain had been badly weakened by decades of socialism, declining values, and rising atheism along with belief in evolution. Atheist bullying is a problem in many public schools, where student populations are becoming increasingly atheist or non-religious and are less likely to keep their lack of faith out of school discourse. Atheist students are commonly engaging in persecution of Christian students, encouraged by the out-spoken nature of the growing number of adherents of New Atheism, such as Richard Dawkins.

In serious cases, atheist bullying has lead to Christian students being pulled out of public schools to undergo home-schooling or private tuition, as their academic life has become intolerable.

Many school shootings are thought to be related to atheist bullying. The most infamous, the Columbine shooting, was partly perpetrated by an atheist.

It is feared that the rising number of militant atheist students will lead to more frequent - and deadly - school shootings in the future.

First, admit that liberals do deify government officials, which is undeniable. Second, liberal insistence on using the incorrect term "President's Day," which is contrary to law, defies any other explanation.

[I have friends and relatives from many parts of the political spectrum, and I can't think of any of them, liberal or conservative, who would give any president god-like status, or who worship government officials.]

You deny far too much, Hsmom. Join the "Economist" in losing credibility by refusing to admit that liberals deify government officials.

[More posters disagree]

Lots of vague denials here, yet no one will admit how liberals deify government officials, as communists did for Stalin and Lenin in the Soviet Union and elsewhere. To liberals, the "President" is an object of worship (or extreme scorn in a few cases). A liberal views the President as somehow above everyone else, and "President's Day" is in honor and recognition of that deification, despite the law expressly stating otherwise. Pathetic, I know, but atheists don't have the real God and this helps fill their vacuum.

[More disagreement]

ShawnJ, you lose all credibility when you say that you "disagree that liberals deify government officials." What you do think the deification of Lenin, Stalin and Castro is about? Or do you deny that deification also?

I repeat: atheists don't have God, and something inevitably fills that vacuum. The presidency plays that role for many liberals. Honor and worship!
