No one but tankies and Russian nationalists denies that the Soviet Union, especially under Stalin, was a monstrous totalitarian dictatorship whose hands were stained in the blood of millions.
That does not change the undisputable fact that the Holocaust happened as well. Really, there are few conflicts that embody Evil vs Evil more than Hitler vs Stalin.
Ohhh, honey, I know about the Soviet gulags. SS POWs died in them too. Stalin did indeed kill tens of millions of his own people, in the gulags, during the Holodomor... via the damage done to crop yield through the disaster of Lysenkoism.
The gulags were a nightmare from which no sane person could recover completely. The SS never returned at all.
What the fuck does that have to do with the 11.5 million people who died during the Holocaust? Yes, I said 11.5 million. Six million Jews died and 5.5 million other people died including the Roma who were wiped out almost entirely.
I take offense that you would use the gulags in that way, to shore up your National Socialist fantasies that somehow the Nazis were the good guys because Stalin may have killed more. It wasn't a fucking contest you choad!

You know what you'll be admitting if you so much as think of disagreeing with me, OP.
What the hell do you mean “might” have done and who exactly do you think defends Stalin’s actions? He’s rather famously a spectacularly vicious dictator and even fewer people have anything nice to say about him than they do Hitler who could at least fake a friendly conversation with restaurant staff. Also false equivocation aside (and ignoring the real comparisons between concentration camps and gulags, identical use of secret police to monitor and strangle dissident thought, rampant propaganda, stoking paranoia and having people constantly reporting on their neighbours, etc.) another person doing a shitty thing does not in any way negate the shitty thing you’ve done, are doing, and hope to continue doing. That simply means there are two shitty things. There is clearly not such a shortage of judgement in this world that we have to ration out our ability to condemn shitty things, although it is certainly prudent to keep attention on the shitty things in the relevant here and now that threaten to have an immediate impact rather than the dead horses long since beaten to giblets and buried or the horses that never existed in the first place repeatedly failed to have been willed into existence through sheer determined bullshit that you want to equivocate with. You wouldn’t let El Chapo off and continue with his empire because someone deflected attention to former and long deceased directer of the FBI Hoover wearing a dress and hoped people associate that with Buffalo Bill or something.
LORDOFCANNIBALS: “If you condemn Hitler’s Nazis, you support Stalin’s Communists, because that’s the way I want it! Now, who to have for dinner today…”
Yes, we know. Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote about it all in the Gulag Archipelago, a lot better than your drivel, and Stalin was undoubtedly a mass-murdering monster.
Still, that doesn’t justify what the Nazis did, nothing can, and I’m just glad that Hitler attacked Russia - mainly because otherwise WWII could have turned out very differently.
Confused?
