Armed robber: Eschatology isn’t that important.
Me: ESCHATOLOGY PRECEDES SOTERIOLOGY AND DEFINES THE CHRISTIAN LIFE!

Am I the only one reminded of that particularly stupid Chick Tract where the burglary victim stops the burglar from killing him by saying that he can't wait to die so he can get rich sooner, followed by the obligatory Chick Lecture, where he converts the robber through promises of material wealth in the World To Come?
It’s a meme. This isn’t some kind of scenario or anything, it was a meme that was on Twitter for a day. The set-up was:
Me hiding under the bed:
Armed robber:
Me:
Armed robber: [Says something]
Me: [Replies or completes a phrase relating to what the robber said revealing themselves]
It’s just a copy/paste template meme, the armed robber part is completely unrelated to what would be considered fundie.
BLAM beat me to it. Not only do fundies not know how to tell jokes, they don't know how to steal them, either.
The original was probably something like:
(Armed robbers searching the house, me hiding under the bed)
Robber: Somebody...
Me: ONCE TOLD ME, THE WORLD IS GONNA ROLL ME!
@Spacewyrm in the memes, the 2nd and third lines indicate a silent pause.
Jack Benny had a skit where a robber threatens him, "Your money or your life." There's a long silence. This would be memed as:
Robber: Your money or your life!
Benny:
Benny:
Benny:
Robber: Well? Your money or your life!
Benny: I'm thinking! I'm thinking!
Me hiding under the bed:
Armed robber:
Me:
Armed robber: Chicken.
Me: Egg!
Soteriology has to precede eschatology, it only makes sense. One can live and die ages before the end times, and even if there exists a last judgement there was a time before when some after-life was present; even abeyance of self, some temporary timeless and self-less suspension counts as an experience of the afterlife though nihil, it indicates that there was a real afterlife that was nothingness. It also represents the fact that an eternal fate is not eternal, there was a period where the "eternal" fate was not applied. Infinity can't be infinity with a piece missing.
Ahh, years of college and university. Glad my English major wasn't the most useless thing I picked up.
