a single parent is forced to take on responsibility, it is not nessesarily a choice. The problem is rather than recognizing that as a failing of men, it is used as a justification for women.
Ultimately it is a deeper issue than appearances, their are marked differences in the way the brain functions in men and women.

Look at the sheer volume of women in abusive relationships for example, do you believe that is what they would have chosen, if they had knowledge of how things would turn out? (which unfortunately some do) You and others seem to keep viewing this as an insult, or put down upon women, if anything it is indicative of how men have followed their own selfish pursuits, thus resulting in this situation.
