Oh, and while I'm at it, I'm Croatian. We were never a colonial force, and had in fact endured periods which could be described as colonialism by the Austrians, Hungarians, Serbs and Italians. (plus perhaps the Germans in WWII and maybe the Ottomans if you count them as colonizers)
