The Left’s perpetual pursuit of utopia is nauseating. These people actually believe that they’re the smartest, worldliest, most benevolent, do-gooders on the planet. They know what’s best for everyone — and everything — when it’s best, where it’s best, how it’s best, and with whom it’s best. Utopia is attainable in their collective mind, and with just enough legislation and regulations, they will provide immortality for all — free from tobacco, trans-fats, high sodium foods, and 32 ounce soft drinks.

The root of this outlandish delusion is their complete rejection of God — any god will do, but especially the Christians’ God. Liberals have no creator, no king, no lawmaker, and no judge. Marx is the beginning, and they’re the end.

So why is Utopia so elusive? Why, after 160 years and several failed attempts, have they not successfully established it? What’s stopping them? Those accursed conservative Christians are with their faith in a moral, merciful, and just creator God — and George Bush, of course.

Jesus was the greatest liberator of all time, and His life and teachings stand in direct opposition to the Progressives’ utopian goal. Christians believe man is basically evil and requires discipline and training on how to govern himself in order to live in harmony with his neighbor. Then, he’s free to carry out what he learned. On the other hand, leftists believe man is basically good, but he’s too stupid to govern himself in order to live in harmony with his neighbor, so they make laws to bind him — unless he has an Ivy League degree or contributes heavily into the Democrat party — then he’s exempt.

Joshua said to Israel, “Choose this day whom you will serve—.” But if he were a leftist, he would have said, “You will serve me, because I know what’s best” — and then used terror to secure abject obedience.

You see, the left feigns that they want a glorious world free from war, poverty, starvation, cruelty, and asphalt. But to achieve it, they must declare war on the people they rule, and make everyone — except themselves — equally poor, create scarcity, be extremely cruel, and establish government-run slave labor to build roads, all while they bask in the lifestyle of the rich and famous. This is the left’s Utopia.

They’re not interested in anyone else’s freedom — only their own. And they want no opposition, no competition, and no erudition to stop them. They’re the elite — they are gods. Sadly, though, many who embrace the utopia-chasers’ illusion have no idea that the elite will eventually eliminate them, too. As Vladimir Lenin succinctly said, “They’re useful idiots.”

But we must not grow weary in well-doing. The battle is ours to win. God created man to live free, and once he tastes liberty, nothing else will do. We must remain strong, have courage, and persevere to the end.

This nation is a beacon of light where liberty has had her way and draws men from around the world. This is her home, and she won’t leave as long as there are those who will pay the price for her to stay. And those who love her know she’s costly indeed. Many will pay with their lives, and others, their fortune and sacred honor, too.

We must remain vigilant, and resist the seductive siren call of the left’s utopian mirage. And after having done all to stand, we must stand firm. We will win. And we must never forget that.
