Reminder: None of us would be incel in a monogamous society
200 years ago, women used to feel like old maids if they didn't have a husband by age 20, and so every woman got married by age 20. When every woman has a husband, every man has a wife. It wasn't like present day where young women take turns getting fucked by Chads, while average and ugly men are left to rot in loneliness until they marry their post-wall wife.

1. I would not want my marriage to be cheapened by social pressure. I want to marry for love, to the love of my life, not because I am supposed to and at the first desperate opportunity* - and I would want the same to be true for my bride.
2. That world never existed. There were always some women who found a way to live unmarried. To give just one example: Nuns.
3. Nine words: "Not if you were the last man on Earth!"
* which, of course, is not to say that I don't hope that I would be lucky the first time
Well, for one, society IS still largely monogamous. Unless you're part of a society that isn't. Or you've pulled the typical incel/manosphere trick of redefining words to suit your needs.
And being a douchebag of no social worth, you likely wouldn't have had a mate in those days either. And you'd be bitching to no one in particular about how women always gravitate towards the evil "Chadwicks" rather than paying court to people like you.
If you can't even define what era an geographic region you are talking about, you are blathering about a fantasy land. Even without knowing the era and geographic location, I can say that you are full of shit. There is a reason prostitution is called the worlds oldest profession. I would love to hear what specific era and geographic location you are talking about so that I can get far more specific about why you are so full of shit, you've got it coming out your ears.
Two centuries ago, when "every woman got married by age 20", we didn't have a Lost Boys Club whining at each other about demanding their very own "8 and above, and she has to be a virgin, and she has to be assigned to us because we refuse to get out of the basement and look for a woman ourselves".
Besides, if you were at sea from the age of fifteen, or a servant in a manor house, you wouldn't get a chance to marry at all.
"When every woman has a husband, every man has a wife."
Unless there are priests, nuns, eunuchs, homosexuals, old maids/bachelors, people dying before they get a spouse, people choosing to remain unmarried, or any ratio of men to women of marrying age that isn't exactly 1:1 in a given locality.
So basically, no, your little fantasy world never existed. Accepting reality isn't exactly easy for incels, is it?
“200 years ago, women used to feel like old maids if they didn't have a husband by age 20, and so every woman got married by age 20.”
If every woman got married by 20, how would we know how they felt if they were single at 20?
“When every woman has a husband, every man has a wife.”
Um, no. Not how it works.
Even if your generation was 50/50 males to females, some of your peer females would be marrying older men, to replace their peers who died in childbirth or sickness.
You’d still be in competition with grown-ups and decent men, not just statistics.
Confused?
