I dated a woman who was taller than me, much more thin, and (from my perspective) attractive than me. She liked me because she found me to be a good man. And had a well trimmed beard. Apparently that's a thing for her.
But different women want different things. I've been rejected...oh, more times than I care to count, but as one of my (woman) friends said, you gotta put yourself out there.
there's a solutions to this conundrum of yours. don't have such high standards. don't ask for a glamour model if you're an antisocial slob. Also, casual sex is a thing if to bump uglies is all you want, I have my hand (and a certain other appendage) in that scene and if nothing else, it's a fun passtime.
That's the problem you get into when you treat personal relationships as a "marketplace". It doesn't work that way. If you lack wealth, and lack good looks, then you're going to have to cultivate charm to have a chance at success. Talking about women as part of a "marketplace" is definitely not charming.
Yeah, I'm sure a lot of women enjoy looking at attractive men, just as a lot of men probably enjoy looking at attractive women. Both the men and women on TV aren't exactly hard on the eyes, you know.

I do have a particular type which I like - a few inches *under* 6 feet, slim, and somewhat androgynous. I'm not into really tall guys or muscles. Most of the men I've dated didn't actually look like that *or* the incel version of fantasy guy, as personality is more important to me than eye candy.
From what I've heard, most women who have a height preference (and not all women have such a preference) do prefer men 4-5 inches taller than themselves. Given that the average woman is a little shorter than the average man, and there are rare women who prefer short men, it barely skews anything at all. So the height thing at least is nonsense.
And, I confess, I am that man.

As if you incels aren't only attracted to "Stacy." You're the ones who desperately want sex, but only from gorgeous supermodels. You are the ones who think that sleeping with a woman who's less than 6 or 7 on your arbitrary grading scale is beneath you. You're so desperate for sex but you won't even consider all those average women out there who you are more likely to end up with. All the while whining that women want men who are better looking than you.
Again, I've never seen such an inferiority complex mixed with a superiority complex. I really ought to go to school and learn how to be a professional psychologist. I could make a living studying these guys.
Thank you, Thomas. I was going to point out the hypocrisy of "incels" whining about women being shallow while being utterly superficial themselves.
I feel like I'm repeating this ad nauseam but I've seen guys who are under 5'11, overweight and "ugly" do just fine with the ladies. The difference between "incels" and them is that they aren't shallow douchebags who hate women. But, again, these manbabies tend to dismiss guys like that as "desperate beta orbiters" because their girlfriends and wives aren't "a solid 7 to 10".
I mean hell, the woman I'm in a casual relationship with is voluptuous and to me, absolutely gorgeous. But following "incel" (il)logic, I'm part of the "harem" of guys after her. All I can say to that is whatever, I'm the one who still enjoys regular naked fun time with a sexy lady.
There is no truth to admit, you juvenile toad. Attractiveness is always subjective. I mentioned it once before, but I once worked with a woman who desperately wanted to bang Nicholas Cage. He's not likely to appear on many women's "Men I'd Like to Fuck Senseless" list. Certainly not on mine.

Mostly because you don't want to. The Visual Kei, Glam Rock, Gothic, and other non beefy guys who get women are laughing at you. Or disgusted. The ugly/average short guys who get women are laughing at you. Or disgusted. If you are going to insist on reducing personal relations to a "marketplace", you can't whine when you don't have the "currency" to buy and don't want to work on getting it.
So yet again, incels, the problem is you, not them.

@ Bimaac- I have no idea who that is. Other people's tastes & preferences make no difference to me, & we all know people that have a...thing for celebrities who don't necessarily fit the traditional standards of beauty. There are legions are girls out there who would love to hump Draco Malfoy, & Marvel's Loki has a lot of fans. I like Loki, but I prefer Thor. And what about Marty Feldman? He was a pooch, but still married to the same woman, I think until he passed away. Benedict Cumberbatch has a lot of fans, many of whom were very upset when he got married. Way back in the days of yore, I knew a girl that had a massive crush on Danny Wood, the ugliest one of the New Kids on the Block. I didn't like them, but all my friends did & there was no escaping them in 1989. Our own Miss Spuki loves men with a thinner build & a more androgynous look, while I prefer men with some meat on 'em. I admit that I find the "Chad" physical ideal appealing, with the 6 pack & rippling arms, but I would never turn someone down because he wasn't built like Captain America. Although if Chris Evans were to proposition me, I'd probably faint.
@ Spuki- That's the best I've ever seen Adam Driver look. I can't remember the other guy's name, but I'm assuming he was Gen. Hux. He's kinda cute, but I'm just not attracted to ginger guys. I'm sure it comes from being of the flame haired persuasion myself. One of the first things I think of when I see red haired guys is that I'm looking at myself with male plumbing.
And while I'd still never sleep with him, Nicholas did rock the New Wave look pretty well. Musta been back when he still went by Nicholas Coppola.
