I’m well aware that pedophilia and any sort of romantic/sexual interaction with a minor is hanous and completely devoid of any sort of good, but I can’t get behind these “if I saw a pedophile I’d shoot them without question” or “all pedophiles should drop dead now.” To me it’s saying that God’s grace is not powerful enough to change these people. It’s saying that the blood of Christ was not powerful enough to cleanse certain sins and it’s untrue. Our wish should not be for pedophiles to die, our wish should be that they receive help and completely abandon their life style to follow Christ instead.
