The use of "Negroes" can mean John C. Wright has been taught in times - he was born in the Sixties - when such term was the normal way to call a black - I hope this is the case.

(1) Menstrual rythms are not very regular;it is unfortunately the case , albeit in a minor scale.
And why contraception demeans women? To the contrary, it enables them to ordain more freely their lives; as to "the prudence and chivalry of men" I don't see the chivalry to unwanted pregnancies nor why the pill would keep men from using condoms to not propagate STD.

Usually Conservatives/right-wingers accuse Progressives of being "anti-white". I guess this is an example when one of their ilk pretends to love minorities in a feeble attempt to gain minority votes. And both my wife's sisters were using "Natural Family Planning" when they got pregnant. Her cousin and his wife use that and they now have 3 kids after 4 years of marriage. My niece uses NFP and has had 4 kids in about 5 years of marriage.

The rhythm method was introduced here as the Ogyno method. My grandmother told me about it, and about the generation that got called the Ogyno babies. Later, influence from English Canada and the States got that generation nicknamed Baby Boomers instead.
