[In responce to Fresno City Council Member Jerry Duncan saying he wished he had a "dirty bomb" to kill every liberal in Fresno]
I think he's right. Liberals are traitors. We are at war. We need to execute all liberal treason-mongers who are advocating policies that undermine the great United States. We need to (legally) excute, immediately, all the "Liberal Arts" professors at all California government universities; we need to execute the slime at NPR and the ACLU and California librarians who oppose the Patriot Act that insures the safety of decent Americans. All John Ashcroft need do is tell the nation: liberals are traitors and must be executed to insure the safety of the nation. Thank God for Jerry Duncan!

Why do these fucks see everything in black and white? "Liberals just want to undermine the United States! Liberals hate America!"
No, we don't, you retard, just like I don't think that's what you want either. Why is it so hard for these people to even TRY to understand what exactly we're trying to do? Are they so blinded by their bile and hate that they can't even imagine that liberals could ever want to do anything good for America?
Sandman - there's Cambodia and a lot of Africa too in contemporary times. Chile. Anywhere with treason laws that cover dissidents.
In ancient times, with state sponsored religions, heresy was punishable by a very violent death too.
Someone get F's in English, Art, Music, etc?
California librarians need to be executed? I don't follow. Did I miss something connecting libraries in CA and the Patriot Act?
1) Ashcroft is no longer the attorney general, dipshit.
2) Difference of opinion does not make someone a traitor. First Amendment, bitch.
3) "Liberal arts" professors are not necessarily liberal - I've had two that are conservative out of 7 liberal arts classes.
4) Spying on citizens without a warrant is unconstitutional. Fourth Amendment, bitch.
5) Duncan ought to be impeached for such a statement (not because it's directed at liberals, but because he said it regarding *anyone*).

I believe the Patriot Act permits inspection of library check-out histories of "suspected terrorists". Some librarians are probably not happy about this, citing their patrons' right to privacy and all that.
"I think he's right."
No, you don't think.
"Liberals are traitors."
You obviously don't known the definitions of Liberal, liberal or traitor.
"We are at war."
Uh huh.
"We need to execute all liberal treason-mongers who are advocating policies that undermine the great United States."
There is a huge diference between treason and advoctaing policies which undermine the United States, and simply disagreeing with U.S. policy and advocating different policies.
"We need to (legally) excute, immediately, all the "Liberal Arts" professors at all California government universities;"
Aside from that fact that we certaionly do not need to execute professors, what would be legal about that?
Also, your understanding of liberal arts is utterly wrong.
"we need to execute the slime at NPR"
While I agree that NPR is often not liberal enough, they don't require execution either.
"and the ACLU"
How short-sighted. The ACLU fights for your right to spout hateful nonsense like this. Are you sure you want to kill them all?
"and California librarians who oppose the Patriot Act that insures the safety of decent Americans."
Riiiiight, kill the librarians because the conservatards passed a draconian snooping law.
"All John Ashcroft need do is tell the nation: liberals are traitors and must be executed to insure the safety of the nation."
Riiiight, killing the librarians will "insure the safety of the nation."
"Thank God for Jerry Duncan!"
Thank your imaginary friend all you want.
I'm searious, why are all these people agenst the ACLU?
Mainly because conservative "news" nutjobs like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limburger keep pointing out their "liberal bias" all the time. Of course they leave out any soft cases or cases where they're defending a "conservative" or "family" group.
Though to be fair, they have been critical of the Bush administration and notably the Patriot Act.
And why, pray tell, would John Ashcroft need to tell the nation this? Wouldn't it make more sense for an official who is actually still in a position of power to do this?
ETA: Oh, yeah, and your plan is completely fucked.
Sammy, America is too wimpy to do that, but that doesn't mean you have to live without it. Here's a one-way ticket to North Korea. Enjoy your trip.
Or, if you'd prefer, you can step into my Way Back Machine, and I'll send you to Nazi Germany. They certainly kill liberals there!
Of course, Sammy, you're posting this hate rant by using freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is a liberal concept, so you're a hypocrite.
Discussion Question: Are these people so stupid they actually want an oppressive dictatorship, or so stupid they don't realize they're creating an oppressive dictatorship? I've heard people claiming democracy is ungodly and they want a Christian dictator, but I've also heard people claim that ending free speech or killing people will bring "liberty."
## So they don't have to *do* anything - they need only *be* liberals. I see. So what happened to trivia like justice, due process, criminality & other such, equally tiresome, things ?
Someone ignorant enough to mistake the teaching of Liberal arts courses for statements of political sympathies does himself no favours at all.
But, of course, it's us atheists that are all about trampling freedoms, and setting up dictatorships.
I am myself annoyed by by left-wing [here in Norway, that often ACTUALLY mean socialist] movie/music/theatre/literature-types, but that is because they are artist - not politicians/political scientists/philosophers - and should just shut up.
If one extend that thought, they are the last group of leftists one should feel threathened by, and therefore not woth striking against.
Confused?
