I’m waiting on a delivery so I’ll play along for a few points
“Episode length” is one of the most subjective things ever. Plenty of shows managed to stay going with hundreds of episodes, while some shows barely hit 13 before hitting its limit. Y’know, One Piece tends to have strong episodes to this day, while Paranoia Agent did everything in just 13 episodes.
This “CalArts” thing is extremely weird not just because dead horse but your own art is extremely close to this “CalArts” style. This is just shooting yourself in the foot.
“Dad is rich but chooses to live like a degenerate wage slave” as hard as it is, let’s skip over the tasteless, HORRID bashing of poor people and point out: Greg acting like a tycoon would have clashed something awful. If I may nitpick myself, Jack’s father and the Emperor thing felt detrimental, being yet another “Chosen One” when it doesn’t really fit how Jack was thrust into a completely different time period, forcing him to adapt in many ways. I know the first episode relied on it to justify the training, just ehhh. We can chalk that up to hindsight.
“50 years pass did not age” and “Uses angst to benefit the story not be the story” means he didn’t even watch all of it. The final season focused a lot on Jack’s immortality and his mental state taking a toll on him.
I’ve a feeling he has a double standard with fat people (spoiler, it’s more than a feeling), given he’ll bash Steven Universe over having a belly but the Scotsman and his Wife are perfectly fine being very large. Also wow he referred to the Daughters as “babes”, and not in the weird historical “child” context. A bit odd!
"Celebrity voices” isn’t the slam dunk you think it is. You mentioned many times about wanting to voice act, you should know how difficult it is for anyone to get work that isn’t already swimming in the offers.
"Hardly ever nitpicked by the fans” Again, final season. The romance subplot, the focus on Jack’s inner turmoil, and the sudden adult content because it now aired on Adult Swim and most of the fans were far in adulthood. It wasn’t just “Jack wasn’t in a preferred ship”. You know, you can actually critique shows you like and… still like it, shocking I know.
“90% crying and being emotional” Ah yes, crying is bad and fragile to the male psyche.

I didn’t watch much Steven Universe but I didn’t see a single bit of crying and I don’t think I just got that fabled 10%.
“Based on nerdy anime” yeah I’ll just end on this, oof.
