I've studied multiple religions in depth, on my own and at the college level: Islam, Atheism, Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age, Native Spirituality, etc... Christianity is the one that contains the Truth, because it is the one that points to Christ. The evidence lies with Him. So, to answer your question, I'd probably be Christian.

You should sue the college you went to, seriously. The logic and reasoning you exhibit is so... so...inept that you'd need remedial classes to qualify for remedial classes.

Not really that Fundie, IMO. She's just stating, more or less, that Christianity worked for her. She didn't say that people of other religions are all Hellbound evil sinners. She may have worded it funnily, but still... that seemed to be the basics of what she was saying.

Aha, the old my religion is the only true one cause I say so ploy. There is no more evidence for Christianity than any other, they are all simply leaps into faith. PS Kliska, no reputable college teaches Atheism as a religion in a comparative religion course so you might want to rethink your college spiel, it won't sell to college alumni. Oh hell what am I saying, it's rapture ready, I doubt too many people over there have taken college level courses.

Yes, I met someone from the same mold who "read about other religions" while "in college". In other words, he read a book about other religions tailored for Christians titled something to the effect of "Other religions for Christians". Yeah, what an unbiased, comprehensive study, fucking brilliant. I took a look at the book and showed points where it basically pissed on itself, lied, etc. Guess what the kid's reaction was? "Doesn't matter, Jesus is the way". I.E., it's okay to lie about other religions to support your own agenda.
So your one criteria for choosing a religion was whether or not it, "points to Christ."
Talk about stacking the deck to ensure you get exactly what you want. I'm going to get a drink by deciding which one points to lemonade.

Studying a religion and living soaked in a religion are two different things.
Studied new age? Yeah, that is one hell of a religion. Do they have a church? Any kind of worship service? How about that atheist church? I have been looking for one of those. It is rather easy to see that your "studied multiple religions in depth" means that you read some book on crystals. And "at the college level"....I suspect means "at the babble college". Your attempt to sound well reasoned screams "I am an idiot".

@Old Viking, Canadiest: I know some Buddhists who'd disagree. Granted, there are sects of Buddhism with nearly no religious elements at all, but there are some which are just as much a religion as any Abrahamic cult.
