John Gradberg is a Panola County, Texas Commissioner. On Tuesday, he found himself in a bit of hot water when he posted about the protests and riots surrounding the Freddie Gray death in Baltimore.
The rant read like something from a white pride leaflet, not a Facebook post of an elected official.

Gradberg has since apologized, in a non-apology sort of way. He claims he is a victim of the liberal media. Here’s the screenshot because I’m afraid that he’ll probably end up deleting these words soon as well.

Liberal media? The United States has no liberal media (at least in the mainstream). It has only corporatist media which is either centrist, conservative or extremely conservative.
I always thought the politicians in my country were bunch of wet blankets, but they are still far better than this flag-waving, hee-haw redneck idiot.

Are you kidding me? quick points that come to mind:
Put honestly, and I'm more than happy to be quoted as long as you include this entire comment, I hope Miss Black America, BET, the NAACP, affirmative action, etc are eventually phased out.
Their purpose is to give people a fair chance in spite of racism. As anyone reading RSTDT can tell, they still serve a purpose, but someday, I hope, they will be unneeded.
p.s. Black History Month doesn't count, since history never goes away, and should not be forgotten.

He sort of had a point* but took it way too far, especially with the "you rob us, you carjack us" bit. Because as we all know it's only black people who commit crimes. And he conveniently forgets that we have President's day, where we honor mainly two white presidents, and Columbus Day where we give credit to a white man for discovering a continent already populated by native peoples. He also conveniently ignores that there is an NAAWP, but it's a racist organization. Not just people calling it racist, but a white supremacist group.
And then tried to play it off with "I'm not racist, I have black friends." The only thing that non-apology needed was "if anyone was offended then I'm sorry" but he couldn't even be man enough to include that non-apology in his non-apology.
a "corporate" "conservative" media is the one turning everything into a misogyny or racial threat narrative.
The media is liberal, lets not insult peoples intelligence when reality is so clear.
Your nit picking on other pet issues like perhaps them not supporting your specific stances on war or whatever does not make them not liberal as a whole.
