The History Channel had a 2 hour program called The Antichrist on the other day. Seemed to be a newer version than ones I've seen before, since it had Joel Rosenberg in it. It also had Hal Lindsey......and, ahem, Benny Hinn. Nothing really enlightening in this one over previous ones with one noteable exception. In contrasting the fundamental christian's Biblical end times view of the rapture, the rise of the antichrist and the 7 year tribulation period, they had an abundance of "scholars" presenting their case for Daniel and Revelation as historical metaphors and not literal future events. The interesting thing was nearly every so called scholar had a PHD. I guess you CAN be overeducated and wrong.
