In the midst of this widespread affront to the fitrah (natural human disposition), the Islamic State continues its efforts against these deeds of misguidance – which Western “Civilization” regards as a part of their “values” – by implementing the rulings of Allah on those who practice any form of sexual deviancy or transgression.
This was demonstrated recently in Wilayat Ar- Raqqah, where the Islamic State carried out the hadd on a man found guilty of engaging in sodomy. He was taken to the top of a building and thrown off, as was one of the traditions of the noble companion Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (radiyallahu ‘anh) with those who committed this filthy deed. Also in Wilayat Ar-Raqqah, a woman was stoned after being found guilty of zina. In Wilayat al- Khayr, meanwhile, a man was recently flogged as a ta’zir (disciplinary punishment) after he was found to be in possession of pornographic material.

I think The Reptilian Jew seems to be working on some sort of "don't feed the trolls" mentality, which hardly seems the most effective way of dealing with ISIL.
Unless these sort of things are legitimately triggering to him, in that case I apologize for being so tactless.
Frankly, this is becoming more horrifying than entertaining.
It is not a question of laughing them off the face of the Earth anymore, it has become urgent to remove them by force with extreme prejudice.
@Indicible
That won't work, sadly. Removing a terrorist group by force will only result in the formation of a worse group. As explained in the thread for an earlier quote, the best course of action is infiltration by secret agents.
@ The Reptilian Jew
I get your meaning, but on this site they're dealt with with the derision they deserve, as opposed to the political correctness and editing, which amounts to whitewashing, of most other sites. Perhaps we need more of this.
I was talking about how they aren't laughing matter anymore. The only way to deal with them is complete and total extermination and posting their horrifying rhetoric on some obscure website won't achieve anything except for triggering people.
Also, at this point we could just start quoting Hitler (I don't care about the Godwin).
I read an article suggesting that if Isis dies not continue expanding, they will fail the prophecies and their caliph will be seen ( by many fundamentalists, anyway) as false. They will wither away.
The problem is, what about all these people they will kill in the meantime? The article seemed to suggest a direct attack would do more harm than good. A frustrating thought.
How are these people not being ripped to shreds in the streets? That's the thing that has always confused me about dictatorships. It isn't a matter of firepower: Virtually every household in rural areas of the Middle East has at least one assault rifle for defense and hunting. They aren't exactly loved by people quickly becoming disillusioned by strict religious rule that sees the faithful butchered as indiscriminately as the heretics. And living in fear every day can only last so long. Revolutions have been founded on far less and these people are no strangers to the concept. Seriously, how are IS pulling this off?
I'm not rooting for bloodshed or anything of the sort, just shocked at the seeming lack of resistance to a regime whose only claim to authority is brute force. That tends to provoke a certain reaction.
These atrocities are not being reported individually by World media like the BBC. It would be better if everything they did that could be verified was reported. It might motivate the security forces to move into areas like Raqqah and actually do something, instead of just sending the occasional drone overhead.
I`ve seen that on the news some time ago... Really wish we stopped the "don`t get mad" game our governments are currently playing with these vermin. They need to die ASAP and every day they don`t, innocents will.
@Goomy pls
Look, I really understand it`s much more complicated than nuke/free the shit outta them, but slow infiltration is simply not enough in this case. these are not some isolated cells which might occasionally cause some damage if left alone. These miserable fucks are murdering both their own people and western citizens by the dozens each and every day.
At this point I believe we can no logner afford to simply play the waiting game with the hopes of it all crumbling down in a year or two, while thousands more dead rot in the ditches, because we had the power to save their lives, yet decided it`s better not to further disturb the region in the hopes it will all one day stabilise on it`s own.
implementing the rulings of Allah on those who practice any form of sexual deviancy or transgression.
So, they're at war with everybody? Because if they're like Christian fundies, they see almost everyone but themselves as sexual deviants.
Seriously, though, if Allah is so powerful and so pissed off at people doing things with their genitals, then why not let him deal with it himself?
Who was really harmed by these "transgressions?" Until then you have not the mandate to punish such acts, especially by death.
@The Reptilian Jew
Maybe making people aware of the fact there is a group who publicly brag about enslaving and slaughtering will incite to action toward these maniacs.
@Passerby
Unfortunately, the ruling fanatics have already shown their utter lack of mercy and regard toward the lives of those they deem, see and conider as God' ennemies.
Entire Arab Sunni tribes, from the ethnicity whose they want to restare the ascendency in Iraq, were slaughtered for refusing to ally with them.
@ Everyone who took the time to answer.
Thank you but not only is that incredibly depressing it still doesn't make a lick of sense to me.
IS sheds blood just to keep people in line even if they are cowering obediently and unlike previous groups they barely even pretend to offer anything beneficial in return. The choices aren't so much pick a fight you probably won't win and change nothing or keep your head down and hope for the best but more along the lines of die now on your feet with your head unbowed wearing down a murderer's resolve and resources so others might live or kneel patiently in a line up against a wall waiting for your executioner to go through your neighbours, friends, and family before the muzzle gets pressed to the back of your head knowing that there's someone in line after you.
I've lived a life of perpetual fear, albeit the quiet kind of terror that only occasionally saw me physically harmed, and by the time I realized my suffering was an eventuality rather than a background threat in case I misbehaved I fought back. When I saw someone close to me suffer the same shit I drew my line in the sand immediately. I certainly couldn't go through that again so maybe my perspective's a little different.
@Passerby
This might be at least in part because of the diffrent mentality of the people living in the region. What you`re saying would`ve been true for most western folk, since our culture has little tolerance for tyranny and (at least perceived)injustice, as our ancestors demonstrated so many times before.
In the middle eastern region(well, most of it) people for centuries were living effectively from one bloody tyrant to another, be it foreign or their own, my point is: their culture doesn`t posess the innate defiance and praise of individuality which would give them the strengh to fight off the boot that crushes them, so to speak.
You must remember that democratic ideals are quite alien to them. When all you know and all you see around you is just one tyrant usurping another, it simply becomes pointless to try and change anything. So long story short, it`s their culture, upbringing and their brand of religion(lest we forget) that all make these folk so susceptible to being ruled by psychos like IS, unfortunately.
I really think a good deal of the blame for ISIS is on the hands of the US, thanks to our policy of funding anti-Assad groups that aside from the fundies (the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Nusra, and of course these guys), lost their popular support quickly aside from a few of them (i.e. the Kurdish ones). If we'd just supported Assad from the start, we'd have crushed ISIS before they could ever spread, and the people of Syria would be living under the same old dictatorship as ever.
@The Reptilian Jew
"Also, at this point we could just start quoting Hitler (I don't care about the Godwin)."
Why should anyone ever care about a Godwin?
@ TimeToTurn
You miss out the facts that: 1) Daesh is as large a force in Iraq as it is in Syria, thanks in large part to the strongly Shi'a orientation of the government in Baghdad over the last few years; 2) Assad and Daesh made no moves against each other for some years as both were engaged in fighting the Syrian opposition; 3) the main supporter of the Syrian opposition has been Turkey, not because it is an ally of the US but because it is run by a franchise of the Ikhwan.
Who's laughing dickhead? The only thing even vaugely resembling a joke was Old Viking calling their interpretation of God a horse's ass.
Every single other comment - including Reptillian Jew's plea to stop drawing attention to the horrible shit they're doing - is either anger or horror because these people aren't the laughably stupid and mostly harmless bullshit we actually do joke about but sadistic killers wreaking havoc. We'd rather laugh than wonder how long it will be before some extremist religious militia gets funny ideas.
You know what's even more terrifying? There are people in America's government right now who want people flogged and thrown off of rooftops for what they consider immorality just like these IS shits are doing and they aren't losing their jobs. In fact they have support. Every time we see something like this it's a reminder that it COULD happen in our own backyards and just like the poor bastards being terrorized by IS we will fucking let it.
So instead of reading one line and running your fucking mouth how about you step off, show a little respect for the dead, and think real hard about the next time your congressman makes a "joke" about reinstituting legal punishment for homosexuals and women who don't wear "morally appropriate" clothing.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
