Today was the first day basically that the governor of the state that I’m in right now—the governor of Texas—issued an executive order saying that we will no longer have or need a mask mandate in all of Texas. And he ordered businesses to open at 100% capacity. Fully open! Yay!

Today was basically day one, and that’s why I’m wearing a nurse’s outfit because I’m going around and I’m videotaping me going to different stores, restaurants, department stores, bars, etc., and videotaping people’s reactions to me not wearing a mask and having them try to educate a doctor or a nurse on how masks save lives.
Tell me - a doctor or a nurse - how masks somehow save lives, and how they work and how they’re necessary after never needing a mask, ever.

So I want to videotape and I’m going to be starting to videotape people’s reactions, and I’m sure there’s going to be some. And I’m going to keep insisting I’m not wearing a mask, and here’s the data behind why masks DON’T work. Here’s why masks don’t work, here’s all the data and the studies backing it up. But you go ahead, you Walmart store clerk. You go ahead, you grocery store bagger, and you tell me something that I don’t know already — you try to school me on something that I went to school for.

It is worth noting that there’s no record of DeAnna ever attending medical school. In fact, I’m not even sure if she has a high school diploma, let alone a college degree of any type. Then again, we all know how the Trump cult attracts the uneducated, and no one can accuse her of being an intellectual.
DeAnna, if you were actually a nurse you wouldn’t claim to be a doctor (because nurses do most of the actual work) and if you were a doctor you wouldn’t suggest you were a nurse.
So I am forced to assume you are neither.
I dunno, she says she's going around in costume, but I'm not sure "Stupid Nurse" will have the same appeal as "Slutty Nurse."
More seriously, yes. Masks work. It's why doctors and nurses wear them on the job. How would you complete any sort of doctoral or nursing school and not know this?

She didn’t go to medical school. This is just a stunt to push her lies onto the public.
Now that I think about it, if she’s going around impersonating a medical professional and spreading misinformation, does that mean she can be indicted for practicing medicine without a license?
Well now that she’s told us her brilliant plan to harass overworked & underpaid essential workers by LARPing as a nurse, nothing can possibly go wrong. People with camera phones, do your thing.
WTF is wrong with this bitch? Are her parents siblings? Did her mother drink during those 9 months? Did she eat the lead paint? What caused this cerebral degeneration? I want to know.
@ZappaSaid88
Yeah, saw your first comment on it how she most likely doesn't have any medical background. Most telling is that she calls it "a nurse's outfit" instead of something like "my scrubs" or "my uniform." She doesn't treat it as something she would already have.
And the other part of what I said was more disbelief at her claims. If she's claiming to be a medical professional, how would she not know masks work? Does she think they wear them in hospitals and operating rooms for fun?
But, hm. I do know people pretending to be doctors do get charged and arrested, so might be information to pass along to the proper authorities, especially if she tapes herself doing it.

So you’re impersonating a doctor in order to further your bullshit. Got it

So you want people to be mollified into risking their own lives because of your ruse. And you’re running around in fake medical garb so you can look official and shame people even though we know it’s fake. Got it!

So you’re pulling your normal bullshit that righties seem to think is a trump card. “If I pretend to be their kind of ExPeRt then they’ll immediately cave and start throwing out their masks!! They’ll believe me immediately if I say I’m a doctor!!” when we know that doctors can be wrong and some are incredibly stupid. Like “Dr” DeAnna here...

I remember that.
I doubt Ol’ Doc Carson has passed away but I do know that Herman Cain croaked from catchin’ the “’Vid” at one of Orangeguy’s rallies.
In speaking of “The ‘Vid”, all this denialism is only going to shoot the GOP Base in the foot and reduce their numbers…the dumdums.
@SpukiKitty #80910
Oh I remember reading that last summer. It amused me greatly. Still does.
I fully support anything that reduces the number of Seditious Plague Rats calling themselves republicans. Nothing bad can come from that.
we will no longer have or need a mask mandate in all of Texas.
In a related story, it appears surgeons in Texas may no longer wear masks during operations and are forbidden to wash their hands before operating and of course may not wear any gloves. Meat may no longer be refrigerated and milk no longer pasteurized. Seat belts and air bags will be removed from all cars, high school football players may no longer wear any padding, “caution wet floor” signs are forbidden, and smoking is now mandatory, but only cigarettes without filters.
It’s going to be paradise!
Or maybe I read wrong.
Confused?
