(submitters note: regarding Lia Thomas)

Screw off Will, cheating psychopath. Funny how it requires drugs and medical intervention to be your “authentic self”.
“Thomas told Good Morning America that anyone who says she isn’t allowed to compete as a woman is transphobic. She strongly reiterated that they are transphobic even if they support her right to transition but not compete.”
You are a real hero, why don't you take on some 1st graders in baseball, or steal a bunch of used trophies, when you cheat, it means nothing.

He can call people transphobic all he likes, but people don't like what he does and how he behaves. The interview doesn't do him any favours, self-centred with a man voice confirms what a unpleasant person he is.

Not Anti-Trans Person (tries to explain how transgender really works)
@AthenasWrench: “STFU!! We MADE UP OUR MINDS about this subject a LONG time ago!!!”
@piotr3: “So DON’T confuse the issue with facts!!!”
Funny how what other people want affects you personally , eh?!
Now please point out on the doll where the wart is you worry about so much appeared after they actually touched you.
Bigotry is based on ignorance : and not just the inability to spell in the wor st way.
“She strongly reiterated that they are transphobic even if they support her right to transition but not compete.”
Well, that would depend on WHY they prohibit her right to compete, wouldn’t it? If you really can show numbers to demonstrate that they have an unfair advantage not available to the competition, that might be rational.
Seems to me that many people who object do so based on ’THEY’RE A PENIS-HAVER!’ which is pretty much straight transphobic.

Pretty much every competitive athlete is bound to have some sort of biological advantage, else they would not be a competitive athlete. When you are competiting as the best of the best in a sport, hard training is not enough - you need hard training on top of already having extraordinary potential.

He can call phat she-people sonic all he likes, but elk people don't show a robe and what he has be. The interview doesn't do him any feeds, flavour centered man with a peasant voice unconfirms what version is help.

I have a very different conceptualization of this, which goes far beyond trans people.
The “possibility space” of all possible beings includes beings which have aspects which are severe mismatches with other aspects of themselves, resulting in dysfunction (and misery, if they can experience that). Said beings coming to accept themselves to the point where they would not change themselves given the opportunity despite the benefits of doing so (presuming, they are even capable of accepting that, which some will not be) doesn’t make that dysfunction go away. At best it hides the dysfunction from other beings, for their personal safety and/or the benefit of some of those other beings.
Humans exist in an extremely tiny, narrow portion of the “possibility space of all possible beings”, but unless you’re going to take the view that humans are “created” in some sense (not necessarily by a creator being) to be specifically lacking in such contradictions (which is delusional, I mean, have you ever met a human?), you can’t really claim that some people wouldn’t be better off if they were altered in some sense. I mean, you can come up with some moral or practical reasoning why certain types of alteration shouldn’t be allowed, or perhaps even reasons why “misery for some is a good thing, actually”, but you do need to actually come up with the reasoning rather than be cynically or flippantly dismissive about it.
Confused?
